Timeless Villa il Garofalo Destination Wedding With Sweeping Views

June 3, 2024 | justine

Carla and Irtaza dreamed of a wedding set against a breathtaking backdrop they’d never forget. Both avid travelers, they struggled to pick the perfect city. But when Florence emerged as a contender, it just felt right. The instant they glimpsed their venue, it was like destiny unfolding. Surrounded by the lush beauty of an Italian garden adorned with lush flowers and classic hues, their Villa il Garofalo destination wedding was a dream come to life.

In their garden ceremony, a beautiful path bordered by white flowers guided them to an altar framed by floral pillars, setting a picturesque stage for their heartfelt promises. Yet, the timeless magic continued throughout the festivities. Their reception boasted tables adorned with breathtaking centerpieces, softly lit by the flicker of candles. To top it off, sparkling chandeliers hung above, casting a spell that turned their celebration into a scene straight out of a fairy tale.

The combination of those special touches and the stunning setting truly made this event unforgettable. For a closer glimpse at this romantic celebration, take a look at the stunning details planned by Junebug vendor The Different Twins, all photographed beautifully by Linda Nari Photography.

Saying “I Do” at Their Villa il Garofalo Destination Wedding With Florence’s Iconic Duomo as Backdrop

From the beginning of wedding planning, we knew we wanted a timeless event and a breathtaking view. As lovers of travel, narrowing down the city was the hardest part. But once we both decided on Florence and our planner showed us Villa il Garofalo, which was also the home of Dante and Beatrice, everything else fell into place. The villa itself is stunning, with its beautiful gardens and classic architecture. It overlooks the entire city of Florence, and you get a picture-perfect view of the Duomo from the gardens of the villa.

Crafting the Perfect Italian Garden Celebration

With the villa selected, the decision to have an Italian garden wedding was seamless. Everything after that was geared towards giving the event a timeless and classic feel, just as we had wanted. From the table settings to floral arrangements to the classic Italian Millefeuille cake and gelato cart, our mindset was focused on simple yet elegant choices. Of course, our amazing wedding team helped bring our visions to reality—they were incredible.

A DJ With a Live Saxophone Player, Endless Hugo Spritzes, and an Incredible Ceremony View

For my husband, the most memorable part was the cocktail hour–from the exit to the champagne tower–and then the DJ with a live saxophone player. Not to mention all the amazing aperitifs. It is truly a special feeling getting to celebrate that moment with our closest family and friends. The Hugo spritz was flowing, and people were already dancing the day away in celebration. For me, it was the actual wedding ceremony itself. The emotion of walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing my closest friends and family in Florence, with my future husband awaiting me while overlooking the Duomo, was overwhelming and memorable. We also had one of our best friends as our officiant, making the ceremony feel all the more meaningful.

Why Hiring a Planner is Key to Stress-Free Planning Their Villa il Garofalo Destination Wedding

Hire a great planner; they will make your life so much easier. Also, let the vendors guide you and give them the freedom to express their creativity. They are experts and very experienced, and they will be able to make your dreams come true without you needing to micromanage every detail. For example, we provided our florist with a color scheme and instructions to make the flowers feel timeless, and she ran with it and did an incredible job. Too many times, we want to be involved in every last detail, which makes the planning process too stressful.

Treasures From Florence and Handcrafted Mementos to Welcome Their Guests at Their Villa il Garofalo Destination Wedding

At our welcome party, we gave our guests a Florence tote bag filled with our wedding newspaper, risotto, and a mini bottle of Chianti. All of the items were purchased in Florence. For the day of the wedding, we paid our calligrapher to hand-paint watercolor postcards.

This Orange and Pink Museo de La Bola Wedding Was a True Fiesta

Annie and Lauren’s celebration was a burst of vibrant colors and funky Mexican chic style. With hues of orange and pink inspired by an Otomi textile pattern, their wedding exuded a romantic charm that perfectly matched their venue, a 16th-century museum. Every detail was carefully crafted, making it clear that love was woven into every aspect of their Museo de la Bola wedding.

On their big day, the couple’s main goal was to have all their cherished ones around them, and they succeeded beautifully. They opted for a unique twist, replacing the traditional long aisle with circular seating at the ceremony. With the guidance of Junebug vendor and planner Lupita Tirado and their expert team of vendors, they turned the courtyard into a dreamy, romantic space. Bursting blooms adorned elegant tables, accompanied by flickering taper candles. And as if that wasn’t enough, there was an enchanting confetti surprise during their first dance, making the moment even more magical.

If a lively fiesta wedding has been on your mind, you’re in for a treat! Bruno Rezza has flawlessly captured every laugh, tear, and detail, and we can’t wait for you to see it all unfold in absolute perfection!

The Couple:

Annie and Lauren

The Wedding:

Museo de la Bola, Mexico

Being “Surrounded” By Family With Circle Ceremony Seating

We chose to have our guests seated in a circle so that we would be surrounded by love and support, and each person would feel like they were a part of the ceremony. Our inner circle served as an informal wedding party but included those who were a big part of our relationship. They each stood and shared a short quote or sentence that reminded them of our love.

Confetti Cannon Surprise That Elevated Their First Dance

One of the surprises we did not know about was during the special moment, our wedding team surprised us with a confetti cannon halfway through our first dance. It was unexpected, surprising, and fun, making for some great photos.

Making Their Museo de La Bola Wedding By Partnering With Experts

Lupita Tirado and her team helped us every step of the way, guiding and assisting us with every decision we needed to make, working within our budget, and pushing us to have some elements that made the whole weekend into the perfect wedding. We recommend choosing a wedding venue to bring your vision together and working with a team that will listen to and push you beyond what you imagine for your wedding day.

This ESMDM Wedding is the Definition of Romantic

May 30, 2024 | justine

Selecting the ideal venue for your special day is essential as it establishes the tone for the entire celebration. It influences everything from the color palette and decor to the overall ambiance, as seen in Maria and Jesus’ ESMDM wedding. They imagined their day to exude a blend of bohemian and romantic vibes, with only their nearest and dearest in attendance. With a historical and enchanting venue adorned with abundant florals and flickering candles, they undeniably achieved their vision perfectly!

At their church ceremony, the altar was adorned with delicate blooms, creating a dreamy backdrop for their heartfelt vows. But the floral magic didn’t end there. In the courtyard reception afterward, the space was decked out with lush arrangements and surrounded by the soft glow of overflowing candles, transforming the entire celebration into a magical storybook scene.

The combination of special touches and the breathtaking setting truly made this event unforgettable. Explore all the beautiful moments and unique details from this romantic celebration through the captivating photos captured by Junebug vendor Adriana Foto.

The Couple:

Maria and Jesus

The Wedding:

ESMDM, Mexico

How They Turned a Former School into a Magical Setting

The vibe we aimed for our wedding blended bohemian and romantic. Our venue was an old school built 50 years ago, now repurposed as an art and music school. It exudes an old yet magical atmosphere. It’s not a closed space; it boasts an open roof, perfect for hanging decorations above the guests. In Monterrey, we have many wedding venues to choose from, but our choice for the venue was a no-brainer. While it’s not the most economical option, it holds a magical appeal. Originally constructed and utilized as a school for many years, it exudes both history and beauty. Presently, the building serves as an art school but is available for weekend weddings. It carries an old yet romantic ambiance, particularly enchanting when illuminated at night.

Their ESMDM Wedding Budget Strategy: Booking Essentials First, Bargaining Second”

We didn’t really create a budget; instead, we began by booking all the major and essential items like the venue, dinner, DJ, photographer, and decorations. Whenever we received an invoice for something we found expensive, we searched for other vendors offering more budget-friendly options. We spent much time researching and didn’t leave everything to the wedding planner. Our budget was approximately $80,000. We didn’t compromise on certain aspects but invested time in finding less expensive alternatives. Many vendors provide excellent service without charging exorbitant prices. We prioritized the essential elements and sought the most cost-effective options for the less crucial aspects.

Handcrafted Wedding Menus: A Labor of Love and Attention to Detail

We meticulously crafted the entire food menu ourselves. We designed it and conducted numerous trials using various cloth materials. Once we settled on the design and material we favored, we printed over 300 menus, individually hand-cutting each one. We carefully removed the fabric from each side to achieve an antique look, transforming them into charming old cloth menus.

Adding a Personal Touch to Their Wedding Tables

We created stickers featuring things we liked and printed many of them, placing them on each table. Additionally, we distributed personalized bottles to each guest, adorned with their respective names. Guests then adorned their bottles with the stickers, resulting in a uniquely customized touch. The bottles served as drink containers throughout the night, equipped with lids and straws to prevent spills while dancing and moving around. As for wedding favors, we opted for a special gesture: Maria’s best friend, Analuz Gutierrez, a remarkably talented singer, serenaded us during dinner. Witnessing Analuz perform at our wedding was a truly unforgettable moment for us.

Planning a ESMDM Wedding That Reflects Who You Are

The only advice we have is just to be yourself! Include all the things you love in your wedding. Don’t worry about what the guests will think or what they will like—it’s your special day, and everyone will enjoy it. Dress how you want, serve food you enjoy, and play the music you love. Enjoy every moment, and make decisions together with your partner. We believe we created a unique wedding; we put a lot of time and effort into all the little details. The most important part of planning our wedding was ensuring it was unique and included everything we loved. From the food we enjoyed to the places where guests could take pictures, the great music, and drinks, we focused on what we loved rather than necessarily what the guests would like. We concentrated on the details so everyone would remember that night.

Stunning Sapa Jade Hill Wedding Dripping With Flowers

May 28, 2024 | justine

Trang and Toan’s dream was to craft the perfect atmosphere for their mountain wedding. In the stunning beauty of Sapa, they aimed for a celebration blending elegance with the calmness of nature. Drawing inspiration from Sapa’s greenery and white flowers, they added soft touches of pastel purple, a tribute to Trang’s love for BTS. Every aspect of their Jade Hill wedding, from the food inspired by their travels to the music on their playlist, was significant to them. It felt warm and inviting, reflecting their journey together.

With endless mountain views as their backdrop, the couple exchanged their vows at the lookout terrace. Adorned with delicate white and purple blooms, the ceremony area was beautifully styled and a perfect setting for their “I dos.” Their restaurant reception continued the stunning theme, with yellow and purple table decor, a ceiling adorned with floral clouds and disco balls, and the soft glow of candles adding to the ambiance.

Every detail of the couple’s big day was carefully planned and filled with meaning. It’s a sight to behold, and KT Marry beautifully captured every moment. Trust us when we say you won’t want to miss out on experiencing this breathtaking celebration.

The Couple:

Trang and Toan

The Wedding:

Jade Hill, Lao Cai Province, Vietnam

Adding Meaning to Their Jade Hill Wedding Through Music and Food

We wanted our wedding to feel cozy and welcoming, reflecting our journey together. Everything, from the food inspired by our travels to the music on our playlist, had special meaning to us. We treated our guests to delicious dishes from Sapa, showing off the region’s tasty food. Our night was filled with romantic jazz, Disney songs, and lively Korean pop, representing the different parts of our relationship. But the best part was spending time with our loved ones from all over the world. Dancing under the stars, surrounded by nature, reminded us of the love that brought us together. Our wedding wasn’t just a party but a celebration of love, shared dreams, and making memories together.

How Rain Transformed Their Jade Hill Wedding Day

The most unforgettable moment happened unexpectedly over two days. We were getting ready for our ceremony in Sapa’s beautiful landscapes when a sudden rainstorm hit the Saturday we planned to wed. So, we all decided to postpone it until the following day. What happened then was truly magical. At dawn, with a stunning sky after the rain, we shared special moments we’ll never forget. Having rain on our wedding day is seen as lucky and prosperous in Vietnamese culture, so it felt like a good omen for our journey together.

Infusing Their Jade Hill Wedding with BTS-Themed Highlights

Our ceremony was a deeply personal affair, reflecting our journey and passions. As I’m a devoted member of the BTS Army, we infused elements of the band’s music and aesthetics throughout the event. Shades of purple and yellow, reminiscent of BTS’s vibrant visuals, adorned our floral arrangements and bridesmaids’ dresses, infusing the ceremony with a lively energy. One of the unique parts was having our closest friends be the officiant and MC. They know us well, so they made the ceremony and reception feel like they were made just for us. With their funny jokes and nerdy references (perfect because I’m working on my PhD), the officiant talked about our journey as a couple and what adventures we have ahead as husband and wife. And the MC made sure everyone felt included, switching between English and Vietnamese effortlessly. Plus, the fact that these friends are twins made it even more magical.

Why You Should Start Your Wedding Planning Process Early and Find the Right Planner

Start your wedding planning process early by prioritizing finding the perfect wedding planner. Look for professionals who understand the wedding industry and are open to creativity while giving you valuable advice. Choose a planner who gets your vision and can help you develop the overall theme before you start picking vendors so everything fits together smoothly. It’s important to be flexible; as your ideas develop, some vendors might not fit anymore, and that’s alright. Planning ahead helps you book the vendors you want and ensures your wedding day goes just as you imagined.

The Significance of Sapa: A Wedding Venue Full of Meaning

We’re proud to choose Sapa, Vietnam, as our wedding location. It’s like Aspen, where the groom went to school, with its majestic mountains. We wanted our guests to see its natural beauty, and they were amazed by it. We’re also grateful for how far our guests traveled to be with us. We know it was a long journey, especially for those coming from the US, and we’re touched by their love and support.

The Importance of Equal Involvement During Wedding Planning

We ensured that we were equally involved and had a say in all the decisions during the wedding planning. It was important to us that our vendors understood that our opinions mattered. This way, we could create a celebration that showed who we are as a couple. I’m proud to see Toan taking center stage in different moments during the wedding, whether in the getting-ready photos or as the main character in our love story.

The Groom’s Justin Bieber Transformation

One of the most unforgettable moments of our wedding was when Toan surprised me and our guests with a choreographed dance. He performed Justin Bieber’s “One Less Lonely Girl,” a song that meant a lot to us. Toan spent weeks planning and practicing late into the night to pull off his transformation into a convincing Justin Bieber look-alike, complete with a blond wig, white skinny jeans, and a purple hat. His sincere and enthusiastic performance made it a cherished memory of our wedding day.

Congratulations to Trang and Toan on their unforgettable Jade Hill wedding, dripping with stunning florals. Their hard work and meticulous planning resulted in a truly unique and remarkable celebration. A big thank you to KT Marry for capturing all the magical moments and allowing us to relive the beauty of their special day.

One important lesson from this wedding is the value of good communication with vendors. 5 Unique Fall Wedding Colors

May 26, 2024 | kailey

When it comes to planning the fall wedding of your dreams, you’re not limited to only traditional warm colors. Though the classic reds and emerald greens will always hold a special place in our hearts, there are a variety of stunning colors that represent fall in an unconventional way–colors that have reimagined the idea of the “typical” fall wedding palettes.

To get inspired, take a peek at these unique fall wedding colors that can be combined to create a fully customized wedding color scheme that’ll leave you awestruck.

1. Black

Many people associate weddings with soft, romantic colors. However, these color palettes aren’t for everyone—especially nontraditional couples. If this sounds like you, don’t shy away from using black in your color scheme. Incorporate this dark, sophisticated color subtly with a bridal bouquet or sleek signage. If you really want to make a statement, rock an all-black wedding day outfit for an edgy monochromatic celebration.

2. Neutrals

When you picture fall wedding colors, odds are the first ones that come to mind are dark and moody. While we’ll never get tired of those darker shades, we still want to let neutrals have their moment. And with vibrant changing leaves as your backdrop, neutrals perfectly contrast the natural fall foliage. Try incorporating colors like champagne, beige, and tan.

3. Terracotta

Trade the predictable oranges for terracotta—a color typically used in warmer celebrations that’s being carried into cooler weather. Whether you’re planning an intimate national park celebration or a large forest wedding, terracotta is sure to turn on the autumn charm. Acting as a subtle pop of color, this shade is stunning for bridesmaid dresses, florals, and covering your reception tables in the form of linens or chargers.

4. Spring Into Fall

Bright and bold are two words that perfectly describe the natural landscapes that make fall an ideal time to tie the knot. But why can’t the color palettes be just as vibrant? With more couples infusing their day with personality, we expect to see a shift in those “typical” fall wedding colors. And that means spring shades are making their way into the cooler months.

When it comes to creating your mood board, try incorporating spring colors like peach, lavender, and really any pastel hues.

5. Eucalyptus or Sage Green

Eucalyptus or sage green are colorful in a subtle, muted way, making them the perfect colors for those that want some color while still being neutral. Ditch the traditional deep greens and make a vibrant statement with muted bridesmaid dresses, floral arrangements, or boutonnieres.

Between the cooler weather, changing leaves, and the unique color palettes, fall is undoubtedly one of the most enchanting wedding seasons. And now that you have your colors selected, the real planning begins. To create an unforgettably warm and fuzzy autumnal celebration, check out these delightfully cozy fall wedding ideas.

This St Pancras Renaissance Hotel Wedding Was Described as “Romeo and Juliet Meets London Spice Girl”

As true Londoners, Tania and Tom loved soaking up the city’s vibes. So, they decided on a fun and exciting London-themed wedding that ditched tradition. Their venue? It wasn’t just any place but an iconic spot with a rich history in London’s transport scene. Plus, it was where the Spice Girls danced to their ’90s hit “Wannabe.” Tom adored trains (he’s a bit of a geek in a charming way), and Tania was all about girl power. So, it made perfect sense. Picture Baz Luhrmann’s “Romeo and Juliet” mixed with a dash of Spice Girls fanaticism. From start to finish, their St Pancras Renaissance Hotel wedding was a vibrant ode to their love, proving that when two worlds collide, magic happens.

In awe of the beautiful gothic revival setting, the couple exchanged their vows by the warm glow of the fireplace. Junebug florists The Way to Bloom added some flair and adorned the altar with vibrant floral pillars and playful disco balls, infusing the ceremony with bursts of color. And the party was just getting started! At the reception, the tables were filled with colorful centerpieces. To add a final touch, a neon sign behind their sweetheart table perfectly captured the vibe of the party.

The pair’s big day was a delightful mix of fun and elegance, brimming with vibrant colors and impeccable style. If you want to dive into every little detail, Amy Faith’s snapshots tell the complete story.

The Inspiration Behind Their Unconventional St Pancras Renaissance Hotel Wedding

We didn’t want anything too traditional. Meeting, working, and living in London (the best city in the world), we wanted something that reflected our relationship and summed us up as a couple. Being Londoners, we always take advantage of everything the city offers. It was super important to us to have a statement London wedding that avoided the boring clichés of a typical wedding. So, we went for a fun, vibrant, and non-traditional design. Think Baz Luhrmann’s “Romeo and Juliet” meets London Spice Girl fangirl.

Having Friends and Family Speak was the Highlight of Their St Pancras Renaissance Hotel Wedding Ceremony

Nothing comes as much of a surprise on the wedding day, especially after a year of meticulous planning and involvement in every detail. However, inviting family and friends to speak during the ceremony was truly exceptional. We deliberately chose not to know what the readings would be, so hearing their words, which they believed reflected us as a couple, and listening to their advice was profoundly meaningful and emotional.

Blending Tradition with London’s Energy

We thought about having some of our wedding pictures taken on the underground. As Londoners, public transport is a massive part of our daily routine. Tom’s passion for transportation, or as I call it, his “train nerd” side, adds to the connection. Plus, the underground holds a special significance for me: during WWII, my great-grandmother took shelter in the underground during a raid and came back to the house being bombed whilst pregnant with my nan. It’s a part of my family history that makes me grateful daily. When planning our wedding, we wanted something representing us as a couple. We loved the idea of blending glamor with London’s everyday hustle and bustle. So, capturing moments in our wedding attire amidst the city’s energy was the perfect fit.

Balancing Wedding Preparations and Quality Time

Wedding planning can indeed feel overwhelming, with a never-ending to-do list. But before you know it, the big day will be here and gone in the blink of an eye. Our advice? Try to enjoy the process as much as possible. Make the most of every vendor meeting, and don’t hesitate to enjoy that drink offered by the wedding venue. And amidst the chaos, don’t forget to make time for each other—schedule date nights to discuss wedding preparations together. It’s these moments that will make the journey memorable and enjoyable. Lastly, I can’t stress enough how crucial it is to record all wedding expenses. Expenses can add up quickly, even for the smallest, most intimate weddings. A clear overview in black and white will help you stay on track and organized throughout the planning process.

Bringing Their Vision to Life Starting with an Iconic and Meaningful Venue

St Pancras Renaissance Hotel is special in London’s architecture and boasts a rich transport history. Fun fact: it was even the setting for the iconic 90s Spice Girls “Wannabe” music video. With Tom’s passion for trains and the bride’s love for girl power, it felt like the perfect fit. As for the overall aesthetic, we aimed for something beautiful, untraditional, and memorable. Thanks to our fantastic suppliers, we were able to bring this vision to life. After all, the little details truly make all the difference.

This Hotel Kioro Wedding Features Epic Views of a Volcano

May 25, 2024 | justine

Alejandra and Felipe envisioned creating unforgettable memories with their loved ones from all over the world. They searched for a place that would be both accessible and thrilling, settling on the enchanting landscapes of Costa Rica. With their shared love for nature, it was an easy choice. Their dream came to life with a magical Hotel Kioro wedding, where they were surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature, with the majestic Arenal Volcano casting its spell as a stunning backdrop.

The poolside ceremony was truly breathtaking, with floral pillars framing the stunning views as the couple exchanged their heartfelt vows. And the magic didn’t end there; the reception was just as enchanting. The ceiling adorned with cascading greenery, delicate blooms, and twinkling fairy lights created an ambiance of pure elegance. Candlelit tables adorned with pristine white flowers and foliage added a touch of romance, making it a celebration to remember for years to come.

Get ready to be swept away by the beauty and romance of their special day!

Alejandra and Felipe

The Wedding:

Hotel Kioro, Costa Rica

Finding the Perfect Backdrop for Their Special Day

We are inspired by the outdoors and the mountains. We love to go hiking and enjoy the adventure that comes with travel. We wanted to translate that into our wedding. Costa Rica is a vibrant country, and we wanted the scenery to speak for itself. Arenal during May can be a tricky time of the year for weddings. It’s considered the start of the rainy season in the region, and the volcano is rarely seen in its entirety. We were blessed to have the volcano completely clear during the afternoon for our special day. It’s truly breathtaking to be marrying your spouse with the volcano in the background. We had one of our best friends officiate the wedding. We felt that made it personal to us. We also had a mixture of English and Spanish, which we can relate to. We had it outdoors with the volcano at our center altar, all while standing over the water of the hotel swimming pool and clear plexiglass. Then cue the Mariachi! For us this could not be more uniquely us.

Putting the Guest Experience at the Forefront of their Hotel Kioro Wedding

Felipe: I was focused on our guests’ comfort and enjoyment. I provided transportation from San Jose to Arenal with plenty of food and drink for the ride and accommodated an open bar for three days. Alejandra: Everything needed to be beautiful and intentional. From personalized invitations with calligraphy to table settings and fireworks at a majestic venue, it all needed to tie together and tell our story. It was all about the journey.

How They Found Their Dream Wedding Venue

We were looking for a unique location that would be memorable for all our guests in a country accessible to most in the U.S. but also far enough to encourage adventure and mystery. We decided on Costa Rica mainly because we love the outdoors. We knew we wanted something other than a beach destination or urban setting. We traveled to Costa Rica with a few ideas in mind. We were looking for a place surrounded by natural beauty and a boutique hotel big enough to host roughly 120 guests but also small enough that we could do a total buyout. After three days of traveling and visiting our planned locations, we had no luck and were ready to give up. Last night, we decided to go to Arenal and hike near the volcano. We chose a small hotel that we found randomly on Google. When we arrived at Arenal Kioro, we were speechless. The family-owned hotel was a hidden gem, with the most breathtaking up-close views of the volcano. Immediately, we talked to the hotel coordinator, Francinia Solano, and locked in our wedding date.

Beyond the Big Day: Crafting a Memorable Wedding Experience

Instead of focusing on the wedding day, we wanted to focus on the wedding experience. This entailed everything from Thursday to Monday when most of our guests would arrive and depart. We had charter buses pick our guests up at the San Jose airport with a meal and beer. Our guests were given a welcome bag with snacks, toiletries, and small gifts upon arrival. On our first night, we announced an open bar for the next three days and then welcomed a fire show at the hotel swimming pool area. On our wedding night, we had a surprise fireworks show on the venue’s balcony. Lastly, on Sunday, we can’t forget the trash the dress where we welcomed all our guests to the La Fortuna Waterfall for pictures and a cold plunge. Our wedding was a huge family vacation.

Edgy and Playful Punk Rock Museum Elopement

May 22, 2024 | justine

When Bee and Brady heard the news of the Punk Rock Museum opening in Vegas, it seemed like fate. They stumbled upon it on Instagram, and it just clicked. They wanted something special that reflected their playful and edgy nature, and the museum fit the bill perfectly–no old-fashioned rules for this couple. Their Punk Rock Museum elopement was exactly what they wanted: wild, intimate, and uniquely them.

In true Vegas fashion, their ceremony was a whirlwind of love and excitement. Against a flashy heart-shaped backdrop, the couple exchanged their vows. But the real excitement was yet to come. They renewed their promises, this time against a backdrop of vibrant graffiti art. And to cap off the day, they celebrated with champagne and a playful cake smash, baseball bat style!

With a venue that’s both unique and iconic, fashion that adds to the fun, and a love story as wild as the city lights, this Punk Rock Museum elopement could spark your unconventional inspiration. Don’t miss a moment, all beautifully planned by Junebug vendor Electric Sugar Elopements.

Why a Punk Rock Museum Elopement Was a Perfect Fit

We like celebrating each other and our relationship as a regular part of our lives. We share a lot in common, and it only felt right to combine our interests into the wedding to celebrate us and our interests. Fashion-wise and style-wise, the Punk Rock Museum’s murals and art fit us. They had just opened the museum recently, and we decided it was a good omen. It felt historic. Like, here’s a place that tells the history of rebels and tells a story of finding your mates, whether they turn out to be a life mate or a bandmate, and it all just felt like it was meant to be. From day one, we’ve thought the universe was telling us to be together, so when the rock and roll gods gave Vegas the Punk Rock Museum, we just had to. The venue chose us. We saw it pop up on Instagram, and as soon as we saw it, we knew we had to do it.

Prioritizing Stress-Free Planning and Embracing Spontaneity

When you get caught up in making big plans and planning things down to the last detail, they can turn out just fine, but getting everything right is stressful. And when something doesn’t happen or go perfectly, you get upset or frustrated. If you just go for it, have a basic idea of what you’re looking for, and then let things happen more spontaneously, then you’ll realize it all works out in the end, and the most important part was making sure it was fun. Stress isn’t fun, so try to avoid stress. That’s the two most important things. Make it as stress-free as possible, and try to be more spontaneous. The way we did it might not work for everyone, but if you can incorporate some of those attitudes into the whole planning process, you’ll be in good shape.

Appreciating the Value of Professional Photography

We knew it was important to have a good photographer, but it was when we saw ourselves in the pictures later that we appreciated it. We knew we wanted to have fun, be ourselves, and let loose, and in doing so, the excitement and thrill of the day showed in the photos. We’re glad we chose Cactus Collective Weddings to do our photos. They really crushed it, and the images were better than we imagined.

Making the Most of Their Punk Rock Museum Elopement Budget by Prioritizing What Truly Matters to Them

We’re both in the service industry and are relatively young, and we’re still trying to position ourselves for the future, so the pandemic made things interesting. We knew our budget would only allow for a few guests. Once we decided to go small on the guest count, we were able to do it our way and have more fun for ourselves and our close family and friends. Overall, we kept things to less than $5,000. The most significant expense was the photographer, followed by the officiant, the flowers, the permit, and the venue. We got a lot for what we spent.
