Submit Your Real Weddings, Elopements, and Styled Shoots
Please note: Due to an increase in the number of submissions we receive on a daily basis, we're experiencing slower turn around times! We generally try to respond to submissions within 15 days, but we have decided to increase this number to 30 for the foreseeable future. Thank you for your understanding!
Members of our vendor directory do receive priority when it comes to fielding submissions. If you're interested in marketing your services to couples visiting our website, please review our membership criteria and complete our application.
Our goal at Junebug Weddings is to empower couples around the world with the inspiration and resources to create a celebration worthy of their love. The aim of our editorial is to connect couples with ideas for planning a wedding representative of them, as well as the talented vendors who can make their vision a reality. We work hard to represent all cultures, religions, and styles in our editorial.
What can I submit?
Our primary focus is to showcase real wedding planning ideas, so the majority of what we accept are real weddings and elopements. That said, we also accept styled shoots. At this time, we are not accepting engagement sessions.
How many photos should I submit?
Real Wedding: 100-150
Styled Shoot/Portrait Session: 75-100
What specs should the photos be?
All images must be .jpgs sized at least 2048 px WIDE, sRGB color space, with no watermarks. Please send only single images. We will not accept diptychs or collages.

If you cannot figure out how to get both your verticals and horizontal images sized at 2,048 px WIDE, then you can set the long edge of all images to 3,200 px.
I want to send this submission to another blog/publication. Can I do that?
We ask that you give us exclusive rights to your content for at least 90 days. We hope that you respect our request as we feel very strongly about bringing our readers original content.
I want to post this submission to my own blog. Can I do that?
We encourage all wedding vendors to share their work on their blogs! This is a great way for couples to fall in love with what you do. Posting images from the submission to your vendor blog does not hurt your chances of publication, nor does it violate our exclusivity policy (see above).
How long should I expect to wait before hearing back about my submission?
We are honored to receive a large volume of submissions each week, and as a result, we cannot personally reply to them all. A Junebug team member will get back to you within 30 business days if your submission will fit into our editorial schedule at this time.
What we look for in a submission:
The first thing we look for when considering a wedding is distinctive personal style. We love to see weddings that really show off the personalities of the couple, unique wedding planning ideas and details that our readers can get excited about and find inspiration in. We also love a great story or connection to the couple and their wedding planning experience. Finally, solid, artistic, and consistently-processed photography is a must.
A few tips for what makes a great submission:
- Plenty of portrait-oriented images of both the couple and the details
- A fashion-forward couple whose style is evident throughout their wedding decor
- Dedicated images showcasing the details of the day
- Properly lit and consistently processed photos that are in focus and meet the quality standard of other images on our site
- What to leave out: family formals, guests dancing at the reception, the rehearsal dinner or pre-wedding day events

Submissions are accepted based on our current editorial needs, and a delay in publication inhibits us from providing current, on-trend content to our readers. If you have not heard from our Editorial team with a publication date for your feature, we have not received all materials.
