At Junebug Weddings, we're here to demystify the wedding planning process with inspiration, information, and resources. We publish content to empower couples to create a celebration worthy of their unique love—inclusive of all genders, cultures, religions, and styles. Through this work, we also connect couples to talented vendors who can turn their visions into reality.
Meet The Team
As Marketing Manager for Junebug Weddings and Photobug Community, Lexi has helped grow Junebug’s social following by more than 500% and increased traffic to the Junebug blog by nearly 150% since 2016. Through trial and error, tons of research, and innovation, she’s worked with her team to craft Junebug’s marketing strategies, and then share all of their best practices with wedding photographers via Photobug Community. She lives in Austin, Texas and loves spending time outside with her pup Trixie, listening to live music, and is always planning her next trip abroad. You can count on Lexi to show up to a team meeting with baked goods and a smile.
Director of Content and Editorial
As Director of Content and Editorial at Junebug Weddings, Morgan works to bring couples the wedding advice and inspiration they’re looking for in an approachable and undercomplicated way. She works with the entire team to curate content that brings words to life and marries them with the beautiful images on the screen. When she puts down the pen, you can find Morgan curled up with her cat Max, a warm cup of tea, and a good book.
Member Relations Manager
2020 commemorates ten years of Marissa calling Austin home, and the last decade has been filled with weekends at swimming holes, lots of Tex-Mex, and working alongside friends at Junebug since 2014. She is a UT alumna with a major in Theatre and Dance and minor in Business, who found her niche within Junebug’s member relations department. She loves getting to know the people behind the businesses of this incredibly diverse, talented wedding industry and browsing the world’s most unique elopements and creative celebrations. When not behind the computer, she’s either eating on a patio, practicing yoga, or playing with her bff and dog Beaver.
Member Operations Manager
Born and raised in Texas, Jessica moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas and fell in love with the city’s creativity and soul. As Member Operations Manager and an introverted extrovert, she loves building relationships with wedding vendors around the world while simultaneously keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. In her free time, Jessica enjoys taking walks around Lake Austin with her husband, Dillan, and French bulldog, Leon, testing out new restaurants, and renovating her 1920’s craftsman home.
After making the transition from running her own personal blog, Kamilah found a new home for her writing skills with the Junebug Marketing team! She is grateful to have the opportunity to use her creativity and quirkiness to collaborate with her Junebug coworkers and helping form a warm, and inviting online community in the wedding industry! Outside of Junebug, Kamilah enjoys spontaneous road trips, far too much matcha tea, gardening, and of course long cuddle sessions with her toy poodle!
Jr. Content Strategist and Editorial Assistant
As Jr. Content Strategist and Editorial Assistant, Riley works to bring informational and inspirational content to Junebug readers. She works with the editorial team to curate content that makes wedding planning as easy as possible. When she’s not typing up a storm she’s cuddling up with her two corgis—Willow and Winston—sipping on a margarita, hiking one of Arizona’s mountains, or booking her next travel adventure.
Olivia is a native San Diegan and an SDSU alumna. She brings her passion for content creation and social media to Junebug as a Content Writer. She loves to help wedding vendors grow their businesses while also helping nearlyweds plan their weddings through helpful content. Outside of Junebug, she runs a Disney-focused Instagram account and owns her own jewelry business. In her free time, Olivia likes to hang out with her pup Mushu, try new restaurants, and plan her next adventures abroad—or to a Disney park.
A special thank you to Nikk Nguyen for taking these beautiful photos of our team.
