We know we say this every year, but the 2018 bridal hair trends really are our very favorite! This year brides are turning to volume up on their hairstyles a wearing looks so chic you’d think they were headed to the red carpet or the runway instead of down the aisle. Scroll on for braids and buns and the bridal accessory that will make you forget all about flower crowns!
These are simply stunning! I feel so inspired, and am excited to experiment with my hairstylist and see what works best for me and what I want for my bridesmaids! This is so exciting. Thanks for sharing
thanks so much these are stunning looks! I teach bridal styles and have a class to do Monday for students at a tec high-school and this was very inspiring to see whats the latest looks!
Thanks for your comment and I absolutely hear where you’re coming from. Our point was that we’re encouraging women of color and specifically Black women to wear their hair naturally on their wedding day, rather than feeling pressured to straighten or braid it or wear an up-do. A comparable trend for non-Black women might have been “natural waves,” for instance.
Please let us know how we can continue to do better. We appreciate your feedback and hope to make this space representative of all brides and grooms.

Natural hair is not a trend. It’s our hair. No one says look at that Caucasian woman wearing her own hair! So natural!
