Your zodiac sign says a lot about who you are as a person—your character, how you show emotion, and can even influence your wedding planning process. Yes, you heard that right. Your zodiac sign can actually influence major wedding planning decisions like your wedding dress choice. When selecting the perfect wedding dress, leave it up to astrological chance. From boho gowns to epic jumpsuits—keep scrolling to find out which wedding day attire matches your zodiac sign.

Wedding Dresses For Every Zodiac Sign

Aries Signs

March 21–April 19

Aries are bold and have a strong sense of adventure. They’re known for their love of exploring and their ability to throw themselves at the world eagerly and without fear. When it comes to selecting the perfect wedding dress, an Aries bride will be looking for something nontraditional and daring. Much like this colorful, tulle wedding gown

Taurus Signs

April 20–May 20

Taurus signs are the perfect balance of comfort and luxury. They’re calm, dependable, and stable but they do still love being pampered. Even though Taurus brides love luxury, they’re still logical. This means the perfect wedding dress for a Taurus is something comfortable, elegant, but doesn’t break the bank—like a fitted boho dress.

Gemini Wedding Gown

May 21–June 21

Geminis are witty and can talk to just about anyone about anything and with short attention spans, they’re constantly on the move. Because Gemini’s are known for taking on many projects, we’re here to help ease the stress that comes along with planning the wedding of your dreams. A Gemini bride’s perfect dress is a comfortable, mid-length gown. A dress—like this one—that makes it easy to spend all night dancing and chatting with wedding guests.

Cancer Brides

June 22–July 22

Cancer brides like stability and routines because predictable environments make them feel comfortable. They’re reserved and often take a long time to open up to strangers. When it comes to wedding planning, they value tradition in every aspect. Because of that, an elegant off-the-shoulder wedding gown is perfect for every Cancer bride.

Leo Wedding Outfit

July 23–August 22

Leos have large personalities. They enjoy standing out from the crowd and love praise from others. Their captivating personalities are sure to shine through on their wedding day, especially when it comes to fashion. Leo’s confidence will allow for them to create a wedding that is unlike any other. A Leo bride’s wedding attire should be unique and something sure to wow your partner and guests like this epic jumpsuit

Virgo Signs

August 23–September 22

Virgos are known for being perfectionists. They’re very intelligent but have trouble expressing emotions because of their introverted nature. They’re logical and practical when it comes to the way they look at the world—wedding planning included. Being very polished and generally elegant, a minimalist fit and flare gown is perfect for Virgos.

Libra

September 23–October 23

Libras have ever-changing personalities based on who they’re around. Being extremely compassionate, they’re known for putting the feelings of others above their own. They crave variety and love switching up repetitiveness in their everyday lives. A Libra’s wedding will be a beautiful mix of traditional and unique, including their wedding dress.

A Libra is in need of a gown that embodies adventure and challenges them to worry less about the opinions of others. Much like this mid-length wedding dress—the perfect balance between traditional and unconventional.

Scorpio

October 24–November 21

A Scorpio is very intuitive, observant, and future-focused. They know what they want and they actually make the moves to get there. Scorpios aren’t afraid of most things other people fear—giving them an edge in life. Because of their bluntness and fear of vulnerability, this sign comes off very serious upon first meeting. But hidden deep inside, they have an emotional and romantic side.

The perfect wedding dress for a Scorpio is a gown that is simple and elegant but has subtle romantic elements. Much like this plunging neckline ball gown, complete with a subtly tonal floral pattern for an added hidden texture.

Sagittarius

November 22–December 21

Sagittarius signs are fearlessly adventurous. They have a strong desire to explore the world and better understand how it works. They have unique, magnetic energy which means a Sagittarius bride doesn’t need an over-the-top gown to demand the attention of guests. Their energy will be enough on its own! That being said, the ideal wedding dress for this sign is a simple, elegant gown that allows a Sagittarius’ bold personality to shine through.

Capricorn

December 22–January 19

Capricorns are ambitious, hard-working, and can easily juggle their emotional and physical worlds. When meeting a Capricorn for the first time, their goal-oriented personality can come off cold. But, around trusted people, they’re the life of the party. They don’t typically like being the center of attention, and this will be reflected when selecting their wedding dress. The perfect dress for this sign is a classic gown with a subtle wow factor—like the low, open back on this Jenny Yoo Lawrence Gown

Aquarius Zodiac Brides

January 20–February 18

Aquarius signs are revolutionary thinkers that care about the good of humanity above their own well being. Aquarius signs are clever, optimistic, and anything but ordinary. In fact, they usually do and believe the opposite of what society deems normal. These signs find normalcy boring in every aspect of life, wedding planning included. This is why an off-white, nontraditional wedding dress is the perfect fit for someone as unique as an Aquarius.

Pisces Brides

February 19–March 20

Pisces are known for being emotional-based signs. They’re extremely creative, empathetic, and romantic. Because they’re always fantasizing, they can sometimes confuse fantasy and reality in their everyday life. When it comes to hunting down the perfect wedding dress, Pisces will be looking for a romantic wedding dress full of tulle and dainty floral details

Whether you’re tying the knot on a beach far away, in your local courthouse, or in a towering church, there’s the perfect wedding dress waiting for you. After selecting the perfect wedding dress based on your zodiac sign, it’s time to spice up your look with an epic hairstyle and accessories like these

Gorgeously Green Multi-Day Lake Tahoe Lodge Wedding

September 5, 2021 | Junebug Weddings

When it came to creating their perfect wedding, Chase and Mauro wanted it to be about spending time with their loved ones—including their fur baby— and having one big party. They knew that the Chalet View Lodge was perfect, so they rented it out for the weekend. With the help of their family, they DIYed most of their wedding to stay within their budget. From the invitations to Mauro making their cake, there was an extra personal touch of love everywhere.

Using the colors of nature as their color palette, their stunning Lake Tahoe lodge wedding featured wood details, luscious greenery, simple florals, and twinkly lights. Thankfully, Junebug member Apollo Fotografie expertly captured every inch of this DIYed wedding. Scroll down to see the ceremony from start to finish and let it inspire you to DIY parts of your own wedding.

The Couple:

Chase and Mauro

The Wedding:

Chalet View Lodge, Lake Tahoe, California

Spending Time Together As A Family

By far the most important thing for us is that we wanted the wedding to be an opportunity for our families and friends to really get to spend time together and connect. We knew we wanted to find a lodge where just our guests could sleep and be together for the whole weekend. It worked out amazingly well. For three straight days, our guests were hanging out by the pool, going on hikes together, and, of course, enjoying plenty of drinks together!

A DIYed Lake Tahoe Lodge Wedding

We’re exceptionally proud of how much of our wedding was done by ourselves and our family! I designed all of our stationery, Mauro’s sister, with help from my sisters and aunts, did all our flowers using Sam’s Club flowers. My brother-in-law was our DJ, my uncle was our officiant. Mauro’s family friends catered our rehearsal dinner, and Mauro made our cake! Our live band was a couple of guys we happened to hear at a bar in my hometown one night. We heard them play, loved them, and offered to fly them out to play at our wedding! It was a bit outside our budget, but it was the first vacation they had taken in a while and their first time in California, so it was more than worth it.

A Day Filled With Memories

Our dog stopping to poop while we walking down the aisle is pretty memorable! Also, we wanted a marijuana bar as a fun novelty. But, within five minutes of opening it, everything was gone and the area was up in a cloud of smoke. It’s the part other people remember the most—it comes up any time someone talks to us about the wedding.

Don’t Stress Over Every Detail

At a certain point, a few months before the wedding, we realized that even if nothing else was planned or done, we’d still have an amazing party. The only things you really need are your venue, food, clothes, alcohol, and guests. Everything else is just a fun bonus, so there’s no need to stress over every last detail.

Why A Lake Tahoe Lodge Wedding?

We chose our venue for a very specific reason: we knew we wanted to have around 150 people there and we knew we wanted to have the entire place to ourselves for the weekend. So, we had to find a venue that had enough lodging for our guest count so that we could rent out the entire place. That narrowed things down pretty quickly.

Bright, Unique, And Mid Century Modern Elopement

September 4, 2021 | kailey

A vintage mid-length dress, a DIY vibrant bouquet, and an Airbnb wedding venue—these were the unique ingredients used to bring Annelise and Joel’s mid-century modern elopement to life. This Palm Springs loving couple wanted a simple wedding day that was achievable but still show-stopping. A nuptial that was infused with their personalities, without breaking the bank

From the bride’s DIY bouquet—which she created the day before her wedding—to the fully vintage attire, no detail Junebug member Carmen Lopez Photography captured was short of amazing. Whether you’re looking for budget-friendly wedding ideas or creative ways to incorporate loved ones in your elopement, this Southern California celebration is the perfect place to draw inspiration from

Carmen Lopez’s Thoughts On This Mid Century Modern Elopement

Annelise and Joel put so much work into the details behind their big day. Though it was super important to keep this intimate day about their love for each other, they wanted to incorporate their loved ones. Her best friend made their cake, his best friend officiated the ceremony, and hand-made them all dinner after the celebration. It was truly a team effort!

Don’t Stress Over Small Details

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by options or Pinterest ideas. It’s completely understandable to want a beautiful perfect day but once it comes at the expense of your sanity it’s time to just pick one and push forward. Most of the time your initial instinct is the right one anyway. At the end of the day none of those factors are going to be important in your everyday marriage.

Saving Money With A DIY Bridal Bouquet

We wanted our wedding planning process to be achievable and budget-friendly. Not wanting to spend too much on flowers, Annelise and a friend hit the Los Angeles Flower Mart the Wednesday before the wedding. We had a few inspiration photos but mostly decided to wing it, following how-to-assemble-a-bouquet guides on the internet. Annelise did the assembling the night before the ceremony surrounded by a group of loved ones. It was fun, laid-back, and meaningful. Something that would not be possible with the chaos of a larger wedding celebration.

Advice For Narrowing Down Vendors

It obviously varies greatly depending on the scale of your wedding, but larger weddings can really overwhelm you with the amount of choices. When it comes to wedding vendors, our biggest piece of advice is to sit down with your significant other and take turns sharing your top vendors. This will save you from having to look at 100 different options.

A Short, Sweet, And Personalized Ceremony

The actual ceremony, though short, was very much tailored to us. Rather than traditional vows, we both spoke about our relationship, our future, and what we loved and cherished about our relationship. Our friends spoke about our individual friendships and how they have seen our relationship with each other grow. Our small terrier Bindle was our special guest who delighted everyone with her floral corsage

Involving Loved Ones In Your Elopement

We involved our guests as much as possible. Our witness—Annelise’s best friend Kat—made the wedding cake and brought a Day of the Dead cake topper. We all like a little touch of spookiness and we love the slightly off quality these little totems have. Our witness’ mom also made us some last-minute tablescape textiles. Even though we didn’t DIY those ourselves it was a really sweet contribution to our celebration.

Working With Photographer Carmen Lopez Photography

After reviewing probably sixty wedding photographer’s websites, we finally came across Carmen Lopez Photography. We were limited because our date was last minute and we’re so lucky to have found her. When she showed up ready to party in a coverall jumpsuit we knew we had made the right choice. While taking photos the desert wind picked up and Carmen was such a pro at moving us around, shifting, and relocating to get amazing pictures. We’re both pretty awkward in front of a camera and are so happy with how Carmen’s photos turned out.
