5 Tips To Accessorize Your Bridesmaids

Now that you’ve picked out the color palette for your wedding and you have your bridal party selected, it’s time to plan their outfits. Whether you’re working with a mismatched bridal party scheme or you have everyone looking lavish in matching outfits, keeping their accessories coordinated will have your wedding party looking chic.

So grab your wedding mood board and let’s tackle these tips to accessorize your bridesmaids.

1. Come Up With A Theme

Look at your own wedding jewelry for inspiration for the theme of the bridal party accessories. For example, if you’re rocking a pearl headband and a dainty gold snake chain necklace, your theme could be dainty but edgy with an emphasis on gold chains and pearls.

Keep in mind that bridesmaids don’t have to wear the same jewelry! If someone in your wedding party loves earrings and someone else exclusively wears bracelets, work with that. Using a theme will make accessorizing easier for the whole group.

Junebug Tip:

Accessorizing your bridesmaids includes shoes, too. When you’re picking out wedding party shoes that are comfortable enough for the group to dance the night away, we love these easy-to-style shoe options.

2. Coordinate With Each Outfit

If you’re working with a patterned or mismatched dress palette, remember that less is more when it comes to accessories. If your crew is wearing simple and silky dresses, you can opt for more dramatic jewelry, but if they’re wearing a gown that already has a lot of detail you should opt for simple stud earrings or bracelets.

3. Make Accessorizing Your Bridesmaids A Group Activity

Get the group together for a girls’ night and have everyone brainstorm easy hairstyles and what kind of jewelry will go best with those outfits and hairstyles. This way you’ll have a holistic view of individual and group styles.

Bonus—you’ll get everyone’s input and get to see which pieces they’d choose for themselves. This will come in handy for the next tip.

4. Make Pieces Of Jewelry A Gift

With plenty of affordable and stunning options—like these gorgeous jewelry pieces from Arbor and Co—consider making a piece of the bridal party accessories a gift for your crew. Of course, make sure this fits into your wedding budget before you decide to commit to this cost. Hair clips, earrings, and bracelets are a safe and budget-friendly place to start.

5. Keep Prices In Mind

If you’re able to afford some accessories but not all of them, keep costs in mind for your wedding party. Don’t make them buy a pair of expensive earrings, $100 shoes, and a $1,000 gown for your big day.

Your bridal party is paying for a lot. Between your bachelorette party, wedding gifts, and their outfits—on top of their regular expenses—it gets pricey. Being mindful of the costs you’re asking your wedding party to incur on your behalf will make them grateful to have said yes to your bridesmaid proposal.

Get started shopping for jewelry, shoes, and gowns from brands like Arbor and Co to keep everyone happy and on budget. You’ll be glad you styled and accessorized everyone from top to toe when you get your photos back from your expert wedding photographer.

Tulum Inspired Orlando Rooftop Wedding

March 30, 2022 | riley

Celebrating with family was a top priority for Blake and Rochelle. But because their grandparents couldn’t travel, the couple decided to bring those Tulum vibes to their Orlando rooftop wedding. With the help of their planner, Bella Sposa Events, and their rockstar vendor team, they were able to pull off an unforgettable celebration, surrounded by their closest loved ones

When the bride herself is the florist, you can expect a spectacular display of arrangements. With the open space of The Balcony as the perfect blank canvas, what better way to channel a modern boho wedding at the beach than with earthy tones, rattan details, disco balls, white florals, and dried exotic foliage?

The couple went the extra mile to ensure that their big day was a fun family affair by including the bride’s grandmother in the ceremony. As their guests looked on, Rochelle’s Mawmaw made her way down the aisle and stole the show as her flower girl—it was truly a heartwarming and adorable moment.

Between the coconut seating chart and sangria bar, down to the confetti cannon and sparkler fountain, they threw one seriously epic Tulum-inspired party, and everyone had an absolute blast. And thanks to Stephanie Velez, every moment was captured brilliantly.

The Bride’s Flower Granny Stole The Show

My “Mawmaw” means the world to us, and we actually had her in the wedding as a flower grandma. She lit up and still talks about how it was the best day of her life. I surprised her by playing our favorite song—“Dancing Queen” by Abba—that she and I used to dance to when she watched me as a child.

A Beach-Themed Coconut Seating Chart

I would have to say the seating chart created by Andi Mejia Designs was on the top of my list of favorite pieces. She put our custom design on every coconut, and Arthur’s Catering filled each coconut with the yummiest margaritas for our guests.

A Surprise Confetti Cannon Gets The Party Started

Our DJ surprised us with a confetti cannon during our reception, and our guests still talk about it. Our guests went crazy for it, and the party really started when that happened.

Rainy Day Barcelona Vineyard Wedding

March 28, 2022 | kailey

With rows of vine-covered trellises, beautifully landscaped gardens, and an extraordinary medieval castle backdrop—the historic Torre del Veguer was the picturesque setting for Daniel and Garret’s Barcelona vineyard wedding. Surrounded by their loved ones, the two dashing grooms celebrated their special day with an incredible view and a cozy romantic vibe.

The couple originally planned to have their ceremony outdoors but moved it to the century-old stone cellar of the estate because of the weather. Between the scattered petals, the loose floral arrangements and foliage, with the glowing candles and fairy lights around the wine barrels—the last minute change worked out perfectly because their ceremony was absolutely nothing short of magical.

The couple wanted to highlight the scenery with a tented reception overlooking the vineyards. Featuring a tablescape filled with flowers and lush foliage, they dined under a canopy of string lights. The couple and their guests danced all night and had the best time with the people they love the most. Keep scrolling to see every beautiful detail and emotion captured by Oliver Viladoms Studio

Just Married Barcelona Head Planner Ana Winward Shares Her Thoughts On This Barcelona Vineyard Wedding

The ceremony was originally planned in the vineyard, between the vines, but we had to move it indoors because of the rain—this meant moving the ceremony to the cellar. Daniel, who was very worried about the weather, actually said he thought that it was meant to be because of the romantic feel that the indoor ceremony had.

My advice for soon-to-be married couples—plan as much as possible before arriving at your destination. But as soon as your  friends and family start to arrive, enjoy your time with them and relax. Us planners have everything under control so that you can enjoy yourselves.

Welcome Bags To Start Their Barcelona Vineyard Wedding On A Happy Note

Each guest received a welcome bag with a bottle of red wine, a parma ham, a cheese sachet, and a packet of grissini. The grooms wanted to thank them for making the trip and surprised them with the gifts at the hotel.

Heartfelt Ways They Personalized Their Ceremony

A very good friend officiated while family and friends did speeches in the ceremony.

Serving Dessert Buffet and Sweet Treats

There was a dessert buffet table with a selection of mini desserts, and of course, with being in Spain, mini churros and chocolate.
