After dressing for the big day together and taking their dogs for a walk, Simona and Adas married in a white and marsala wedding in Lithuania. Photographer Linas Dambrauskas captured the ultra-chic couple enjoying their first moments as newlyweds on a balcony outside Tony Resort, and the resulting portraits look as if they were torn from a magazine. To the surprise of their guests, Simona transitioned her wedding gown into a short skater dress, and she and Adas performed a thrilling choreographed dance at their reception.
Even from a young age, Toma and Andrius knew they would end up together. They were childhood friends who met in their hometown of Lazdijai, Lithuania and soon found that they wanted to be more than just friends. Years later, Toma and Andrius started planning their rustic, Lithuanian wedding. Using bales of hay for seating and hanging signs on the weathered wood siding of the bride’s childhood home, this casual wedding felt homemade and genuine. Designer Bruknes Dizainas created the perfect wedding day for this sweet couple. Capturing touching moments of the newly married couple, photographer Maži Stebuklai used her expertise to shoot amazing photos at the beach!

The Wedding:
Private Residence, Lazdijai, Lithuania
The Inspiration:
After one year into our relationship, we started to talk about how we imagine our wedding day. And, we both agreed that we should design it with a rustic style. After Andrius proposed, the idea of our wedding became clear. We have our own farmstead, and we wouldn’t find a better place than it for our wedding. Five kilometers from our farmstead is a church. There is a beautiful lake. Our wedding was just like we wanted.
The Moments:
Our favorite moment from the wedding was the ceremony at the church. It was the first time when everybody, our friends and family, came together. It felt like there was some magic in the air. Andrius and I just smiled and felt so happy.
Agnė and Martynas’ cozy homestead wedding couldn’t have been more representative of them: the DIY celebration took place at a friend’s residence with furniture and decor curated from their own collection. The shabby chic wedding found a perfect balance between elegant and casual by keeping the focus on the natural beauty of the homestead and simply enjoying themselves with their loved ones. Redijus Photography brilliantly captured the intimate affair, from each quirky vintage detail to the undeniable grins on the newlyweds’ faces.

The Wedding:

The Inspiration:
We simply tried to be as true to our tastes as possible. We wanted it to be a cozy, little party in nature. Most of the planning was done by our friends, but we helped them out as much as we could. The wedding took place in a private homestead.
The Couple Recommends:
Redijus is a really warm person and extremely easy to work with. We have no idea how he managed to catch every single moment that day and do it so beautifully. Highly recommended!
From the secluded ceremony to the single-table dinner, Agnė and Martynas wedding makes a strong argument for going intimate with your wedding day. Be sure to check out Monika and Artūrus’ natural and rustic wedding in Lithuania for more of Redijus Photography‘s beautiful images!
Monika and Artūras incorporated many natural touches into their rustic wedding in Lithuania. Wood stumps served as centerpieces and marked the stage for glass vases with dark-coral florals. The triangle streamers and unique vases gave this breathtaking wedding a handmade feel. The coziness of Burbiškis Manor and tons of lit candles created a romantic setting for the new bride and groom to enjoy their day. Redijus expertly captured amazing photos of the couple out and about.
Natural texture, wood, linen, and rustic elements.
The Moments:
The ceremony was meaningful. But, the most unexpected moment was when three storks congratulated us by flying around our heads during the photo shoot, that was incredible. We never saw it before. Now, storks mean a lot to the family.
The Couple Recommends:
All the professional are great! We are very happy that such great specialists took care of us. It’s a joy to work with people who understands you. Thank you dream team!
Inga and Aleksandr quickly planned their destination wedding in Lithuania on a short timeline, which makes this intimate pre wedding shoot even more special. The pair appear so overcome with emotion during their first look, and gradually grow more calm as they stroll through the romantic venue. Photographer Diana Zak beautifully captured these changing moods and the sweet moments between the couple as they prepared to exchange vows in front of family and friends.
Thanks to Diana Zak for sharing these gorgeous images from Inga and Aleksandr’s pre wedding shoot. Planning a Lithuanian wedding? Be sure to check out Lina and Simon’s alternative wedding in Lithuania.
Yellow and gray couldn’t have been a better color scheme for Lina and Simon’s alternative wedding with the bluest Lithuania sky as the backdrop. From first look to fire dances, the wedding was cheerful and bright. Mantas Kubilinskas Photography brilliantly captured the breezy atmosphere of their intimate day.
The church. The church we have chosen is white inside. Although the church is big, but it is very cozy and easy inside. We desided do not use too much flowers. We chose petal path and few flowers in front. Also, the priest was really nice and warm. That 30 minutes in the church was magic, and after that we just thought, that it is enough for the wedding.
Gabrielė and Tadas wanted to create and enjoy an intimate experience that felt natural in its setting and atmosphere. They are drawn to the outdoors and cherish quiet, wholesome moments. They envisioned a location that felt almost random, like an unexpected stop along a road trip—a hidden gem rather than a major attraction. In their home country of Lithuania, much of the outdoors has this unassuming beauty. With the help of their photographer and Junebug vendor, In Bianco e Nero, who shared their vision for something natural, intimate, and remote, they found the perfect spot. This random turn off the road became the heart of their Campo Imperatore elopement, and they pulled it off beautifully.
Under gray skies and a misty atmosphere that heightened the moody, ethereal vibe, the breathtaking landscape set the perfect stage for this one-of-a-kind celebration. The warm tones and textures of their picnic setup, paired with the couple’s stylish yet relaxed attire, blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of the surroundings, creating a truly magical experience.
This remote Campo Imperatore elopement is a beautiful example of how nature, love, and simplicity come together perfectly. These stunning images will inspire you and fill your heart with love.

Celebrating Their Big Day with a Focus on Outdoors and Quiet Moments
As we planned our wedding, we decided to have two events: a private destination vow exchange just for us and a small official ceremony in Lithuania with our parents, relatives, and friends. We wanted the vow exchange to be intimate and natural, reflecting how we feel and where we are. Since we both love the outdoors and quiet moments, we chose to celebrate our day in a way that felt true to us.
How Their Campo Imperatore Elopement Came To Be
We began our research by looking for inspiration on social media, mainly Pinterest and Instagram. Gradually, we were drawn to warmer colors and remote outdoor locations. We wanted our spot to feel almost random, like a surprise stop on a road trip—something not widely known but charming. In Lithuania, many outdoor places have this natural beauty with green forests and lakes that change with the seasons. We chose Italy for our destination because we loved its natural scenery, especially the mountainous regions that reminded us of home. We also planned to explore more of Italy after our vow exchange, as it was a country we both wanted to see more of.
Planning the Day with the Right Team
As we refined our search on Pinterest and Instagram, we began looking into photographers and planners. We came across some photos from our future photographers and decided to reach out. We were immediately drawn to their energy and personalities. They felt like the perfect fit, so we didn’t look any further. They helped us choose a location and plan the rest of our special day.
How Their Photos Bring Back Memories
Looking back on the day, the feelings stand out the most. The photos bring back memories and emotions from the day, from the nerves and butterflies to the rain and free-spirited vibe. Everything felt natural, organic, and intimate. The unexpected rain was like the perfect touch, washing away any tension and highlighting our smiles and love for each other.
Trusting Your Instincts for Your Special Day
Trust your gut, heart, or instincts—whatever you want to call it. Pay attention to how you feel, follow that inner voice, and plan the desired experience rather than focus on what others think or want. Each relationship is unique, so make this moment your own, just as you envision it. Don’t overextend yourself; keep your planning simple and focus more on what feels right rather than just being logical.
Personalizing their Campo Imperatore Elopement Ceremony to Reflect Their Love Story
We kept it simple because that’s who we are. We love being in nature and spending time together, whether walking on trails or diving into frozen lakes. Our experiences taught us that simple, ordinary moments bring us the most joy. That’s how we personalized our ceremony. The universe added a special touch with a bit of rain.
Congratulations to Gabrielė and Tadas on their beautifully rainy and remote Campo Imperatore elopement. A special shoutout to Junebug vendor In Bianco e Nero for capturing every detail and inspiring unconventional couples to dream of eloping. A fresh white blanket of snow and gorgeous highlands in the distance—Simon and Amy couldn’t think of a more picturesque winter wedding backdrop in their favorite location, Iceland. From the snow-covered landscape and gushing waterfalls, to the misty caves and black sand beach—it’s safe to say that it was a picture-perfect snowy micro wedding shared with their closest loved ones.
The couple and their families braved the cold stormy weather and made it to their ceremony in Búðakirkja—a beautiful little black church alone among a field of lava rock. Iceland is well known for its unpredictable weather but even a blizzard and heavy fog couldn’t stop them from getting married!
It was an unreal and magical experience for all and definitely made for some truly epic photographs. If you’re dreaming of a winter wonderland wedding, then these breathtaking images captured by Junebug member Iskra Photography will surely enchant you.
We wanted the wedding to be about everyone and what better way than to make a holiday out of it. Although the official ceremony was one day, we had a week full of exploring and sightseeing all over Iceland—we even saw the aurora one night from our guesthouse. It ended up being perfect as both sets of parents and Simon’s Gran traveled from Australia and our friends from Sweden and Lithuania came to join us. It was actually in Iceland where our parents met for the first time too, four days before the wedding. Everyone got on so well and we still all talk about our holiday in Iceland.
We were true to ourselves and what we wanted. So many people asked us why we were getting married in Iceland, but to us it made sense. It would have been a lot easier to get married in Australia, but we are so glad we went through with our adventure wedding.
Hiring A Local Planner To Assist With Legal Requirements
If you are getting married abroad seek out a wedding planner to assist you with all the official paperwork. I have friends who have got married overseas but it wasn’t official, they still had to go to the registry office back home. Make it official and seek assistance of a local planner in processing all the paperwork and meeting all the requirements.
Selecting photographers was most important. We knew all our family and friends couldn’t be there so we wanted to have photos to share with them. Having traveled to Iceland before, we knew how harsh the conditions were and that there were unique locations, you just needed to know where they were. It was important that our photographers knew how to work in those conditions.
We really liked all of Jane and Tony’s work—we especially were drawn to how natural all their photos were. We wanted our wedding photos to be moments captured throughout the day not staged and posed photos. Jane and Tony were so kind and caring. They were incredibly brave in the weather too. We invited them to our wedding dinner as guests and to stay with us and our families. It was a wonderful time to get to know them. We still keep in contact and our families still talk about them.
Congratulations to Simon and Amy on their jaw-dropping snowy micro wedding! And a special shoutout to Junebug member Iskra Photography for capturing all the epic moments that made this beautiful micro-wedding one for the books. Juliet and Laimonas’ trendy wedding at Brixton East 1871 is the ultimate wedding inspiration for foodies and interior design fanatics alike! The couple’s reception décor included DIY projects featuring reclaimed bike wheels, hand-poured concrete blocks, and dinosaur figurines to reflect their quirky, vintage style. In addition to super cool design and a multicultural food menu, the couple curated the perfect music playlist to punctuate every important moment of their wedding. Juliet and Laimonas also happen to be wedding photographers, so it’s only natural that they asked the talented photographers of The Hendrys to capture their day!
From the groom: Waiting for Juliet at the altar was the most memorable moment. We didn’t know what each other was going to wear so the anticipation was crazy. We picked the song a year before our wedding and planned it second for second, at exactly one minute she would walk in and I would see her reflection in the huge ornate mirror in front of me. A moment I’ll never forget.
Our advice: Get help. As much help as you can get. We did a LOT of DIY. We were incredibly specific and our venue was dry hire so right down the forks were decisions meticulously made by us both. Luckily we have the same taste in pretty much everything so there wasn’t any disagreements. We both worked really hard, it was really a 50/50 input but it would have been nice to have family closer by to join in. We were in our venue until 9pm trying to sort out as much as we could the night before!
Our florists brought our ideas to life, but the night before the wedding we suspended a bike wheel from the beams in the ceiling and intertwined some foliage the suspended a copper mobile from that to hang our table plan from. We printed our own table plans using recycled paper and picking a font we loved. We chose our favourite films as table names and each card had a quote from the film above.
We spray painted a ton of animals and dinosaurs gold. This probably took the longest as it wasn’t as simple as we assumed, but all turned out well in the end. We sourced and spray painted old bike wheels.
We met with so many caterers and decided to pick someone a little different as we were bored with many of the options available for wedding menus. We found Salt & Dry who I cannot praise enough. Picking our menu was really tough, we’re such foodies and between us we’re a mix of Anglo Indian, Italian and Lithuanian so we wanted to incorporate a little of everything, this is quite difficult, hence why we didn’t.
