Maria and Mario wanted their wedding to feel elegant but relaxed. A day focused on laughter, good company, and genuine connection. Instead of following tradition too closely, they planned a glamorous Portugal wedding that blended sophistication and fun. Their exquisite venue, Quinta Lago dos Cisnes, set the scene with its cascading greenery and opulent chandeliers, multiple outdoor spaces, and incredible architecture. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind wedding venue that required few extra design touches to come to life. 

Their love story started years earlier at Maria’s cousin’s wedding, where Mario was the best man. “We started talking that day,” Maria recalled, “but Mario was already planning to emigrate to the Netherlands, and then COVID hit.” Life took them in different directions, until fate intervened three years later at a Christmas dinner. “We started talking again as if no time had passed,” she shared. “It’s true what they say—you need chemistry and timing.”
