Italy has become one of the hottest wedding destinations, and it’s not hard to understand why. Between the architecture, gorgeous scenery, delicious food, and vibrant culture, we understand why more and more couples are choosing “The Boot” for their big day. With so many unbelievable cities to choose from, figuring out where you’re going to tie the knot can be tricky. That’s why we’re rounding up some incredibly dreamy Italy wedding venues to help make your decision a little easier. Villa Rubini Redaelli

Where: Lake Como

Why we love it: If you love the idea of tying the knot while overlooking all of the beautiful scenery that Lake Como offers, you’ll love Villa Rubini Redaelli. Situated in the small village of Dongo, you and your loved ones (the villa has 12 beds) can enjoy the villa, the gardens, and the pool in between celebrations or take to Dongo to indulge in delicious food and drinks or cooking classes.

Villa Troubetzkoy 

Where: Venice

Why we love it: For those who prefer a countryside wedding–while still looking to be close to a major city–Villa Troubetzkoy may be the perfect choice. Villa del Bono 

Where: Milan

Why we love it: Designed by architect Cecilio Arpesani, Villa del Bono was inspired by the Florentine Renaissance and is complete with all the beautiful touches you’d expect to find in an Italian villa. The villa itself can host up to 150 guests, but if you’re looking for something bigger, the park surrounding the house can host events for up to 500 guests. Oh, and did we mention it has a swimming pool that you can cool off that’s the epitome of idyllic?

Abbazia La Cervara 

Where: Portofino

Why we love it: A view overlooking the coast and picturesque gardens–what more could you want in a wedding venue? If the pictures don’t sell you on this stunning venue, then maybe the huge Noble Floor with four exclusive suites, a large living room, and a private kitchen may. Or the fact that Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino have a variety of hotels for your guests, all within five minutes.

Villa Treville  

Where: Positano

Why we love it: The Amalfi Coat is one of the hottest vacation destinations in the world, so it’s no surprise that it’s becoming a popular wedding destination, too. As the former home of the Italian director Franco Zeffirelli, this boutique hotel is sure to exceed your expectations. You can host your reception under the stars at Maestro’s Restaurant after saying “I do” overlooking the Mediterranean.

Borgo Santo Pietro 

Where: Tuscany

Why we love it: Located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, Borgo Santo Pietro is the perfect venue because you can explore Tuscany and Siena. Host your ceremony at the abbey ruins of San Galgano, the church of Montesiepi, or on property in the gardens or one of their many beautiful rooms.
