This desert elopement inspiration at Pancea at the Canyon will put you in the bohemian state of mind for days! Dawn Photography and AE Creative pulled out all the stops to create a dreamy, glamping-inspired shoot within one of Oregon’s most scenic canyons. They set up a fabulous tee pee, hung geometric gold floral hangings from the trees, used macrame backdrops and chair coverings, and chose bohemian-chic fashion with an off-the-shoulder Dreamers & Lovers wedding dress and Southwest inspired groom style. Every detail was thoughtful and expertly designed, right down to the beer from Deschutes Brewery, which was named after the river that runs through the canyon!

Julie and Narve’s small town Norwegian wedding will make you feel as if you’ve stepped into a fairytale! The couple chose the groom’s childhood town of Ørsta for their big day, making use of the surrounding mountains, fjords, and waterfalls for their gorgeous couple portrait session with Lieben Photography. In traditional Norwegian style, the Maid of Honor and guests donned intricate costumes, and the groom and his comrades sported military uniforms complete with swords, which they used for both a sword salute after the ceremony and to cut the wedding cake. In beautiful balance with the traditional elements, the couple also incorporated modern touches, such as a custom Whitestory wedding gown, hand-picked wildflower bouquets, and an impressive array of homemade sweets at the reception.
Narve is from a small town on the west coast of Norway called Ørsta. It’s a perfect location for a wedding. We rented a boarding school for the weekend right in the center of Ørsta, so it was walking distance to everything. All the guests stayed at the school. On Friday, we went for a hike and then had a barbecue up in the mountains with homemade beer and an outdoor concert. The town is intimate and natural, so it was a great place for the guests to get to know each other before the big day!
The ceremony was the most memorable part of the day. Our family and friends were very involved in the entire ceremony. Narve sang, our siblings read from the bible and selected poems, and friends and extended family played the piano, guitar, and sang. It made it all very intimate!

Our friends hand-picked summer flowers in the forest for all the flower arrangements, and one of our friends made the cake table! The list goes on and on.
