Romantic and Stylish Pink Wedding Inspiration

March 16, 2022 | kailey

Pink, magenta, and coral paired with shimmering gold for a glitzy touch—this pink wedding inspiration featuring two grooms is the perfect combination of playful, romantic, and stylish. Junebug member The Tinsley Co., planner Deianna Hamilton, and a talented team of vendors set out to create something fresh, unique, and current using this popular color palette.

Upstairs Atlanta—an industrial 1865 blacksmith building—is a raw space complete with an arched concrete ceiling, vaulted skylight windows, and stunning rustic finishes. Colorful clouds of blooms created for the ceremony by Samara Floral added a pop of color to the blank open space. The same space was flipped for the reception with an eye-catching balloon installation by Pop Deux and tablescape featuring lush florals, gilded cutlery, and blush taper candles. While a cozy lounge area and the cutest mobile bar was an exciting and fun addition to the adjacent outdoor patio.

From the pink and beige suits to the floral and pink bolo ties, this styled shoot is serving us some major fashion inspiration. These creative looks champion individuality, taking center stage. If fabulous pink weddings excite you, then there are lots of gorgeous ideas from this styled shoot for you to steal. The Tinsley Co’s Thoughts On This Pink Wedding Inspiration

Overall we wanted to leave gender-related color stereotypes in the past and remove the stigma that pink is a feminine color that is exclusively for girls. Honestly, the style inspiration for this shoot is Harry Styles. We adore his bold bravery, his love for gowns, pastels, and unique clothing shapes.

Our incredible couple, Daniel and Tanner, were totally down for this pink styled shoot and I love the photo of them sitting at the table holding hands. You get everything in this photo from the tabletop design, their suits, their love, and Daniel’s bomb painted nails.

Unconventional and Fun Wedding Details

We brought in a bright blue vintage Scout as an alternative to the classic getaway cars we constantly see. The mobile bar car added an additional element of fun, while still providing an elevated experience. The textures and colors continued into the stationery by One Creative Factory, the wedding cake by Pine Cone Bakery, and Frosted by Fran custom cookies—bringing in that pop of yellow that perfectly complemented the pink.

Utterly Romantic Ostuni Elopement

March 16, 2022 | riley

Choosing a meaningful location, Tony and Marco wanted a simple and heartfelt experience that was private and personal for just the two of them–and they did just that beautifully. Between the breathtaking backdrop and raw passion, the couple’s utterly romantic Ostuni elopement was pure magic.

From the Mediterranean jagged coastline and ancient olive groves to the rustic masserias and vast scenic countryside, the picturesque whitewashed hilltop town of Ostuni is unlike any other. After exchanging emotional handwritten vows, the couple explored the surrounding areas that were special to them. The variety of enchanting scenery was the perfect setting for their steamy couple portraits.

The two created a dream day made entirely for them, and it’s safe to say this elopement is full of the feels. These gorgeously moody and sensual photographs captured by Junebug member The Ferros will surely make your heart flutter. If you find elopements irresistibly sexy, then keep scrolling.

Ostuni, Italy

Choosing A Meaningful Elopement Location

During our elopement, we went to places that really had meaning for us in our lives–places we used to go when we were kids. Even though we didn’t have a traditional wedding, we wanted to create something that had a link with our roots.

An Intimate And Emotional Ostuni Elopement

The ceremony was such a quiet yet intense moment. We both decided to write down things we had never shared before with each other, and it was so moving. We really wanted no stress in the making of it, and we also wanted to be very personal and private, so we went for a very simple ceremony with just the two of us.

Wedding Planning Advice

There are no rules in planning your wedding or elopement. So take advantage of it and create it exactly as you’ve always imagined it since you were a child. If you fancy a big, dreamy dress, even if you’re not having a traditional wedding, go for it! If you have a place that is dear to your heart, go there for your photos—they’re going to be the thing you’ll look at most in the future.

Unforgettable Moments Of Their Ostuni Elopement

Following our photographers in an amazing field of olive trees was amazing. They found one that literally looked like a nest. It was like that tree was embracing us–and looking back at that shot–it really seemed like we were one with nature. Another special moment was when we went to Polignano a Mare. Suddenly, it was like a storm was about to arrive, and it all felt so unreal and so thrilling at the same time.

Charming and Intimate Stable Cafe Wedding

March 14, 2022 | riley

After such a long time apart due to the pandemic, what Beth and Patrick really wanted was to have a relaxed and intimate celebration at their favorite restaurant—treating their family and friends to a delicious feast and an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by their loved ones and the perfect San Francisco weather, the couple’s Stable Cafe wedding was a day truly meant for them and their loved ones.

Built in the 1800s as a carriage house that appears unassuming from the street—the Stable Cafe’s gorgeously manicured garden patio provided the perfect lush backdrop of greenery that framed the couple as they exchanged their vows. The plum trees, vines, and potted plants along with the understated floral arrangements by Ash and Oak, votive candles, and bistro lights set the romantic mood for their charming courtyard reception.

If you’re a foodie thinking about having a small wedding at your favorite restaurant, you’ll love this Stable Cafe wedding. The romance and beauty of Beth and Patrick’s big day comes across so beautifully in these images captured by Erin Prado for Vivian Chen Photography. Scroll through for amazing ideas and inspiration for your own intimate celebration.

The Wedding:

The Stable Cafe, San Francisco, California, United States

Inspiration for Changing Up Timelines

Rather than spend all of Saturday getting ready, we had our wedding on Friday night. Then we enjoyed Saturday afternoon sailing with our guests on the Bay. It was so special to share our favorite parts of the city with our loved ones and maximize our time together after such a long time apart during COVID

Weather Changes Made Their Stable Cafe Wedding Perfect

The weather was unbelievable! It was a pretty cold and windy summer in San Francisco so we rented a bunch of extra heaters for our guests and warned them to bring extra layers. Turns out the weekend was beautiful—sunny, a light breeze, and warm. I’d bought a white Patagonia jacket as my bridal jacket but didn’t end up needing it at all.

Using Tight Transportation for Cute Photo Ops

We’ll never forget squeezing into my sister’s car with Patrick, our photographer Erin, and my nephew’s empty car seat. It was a bit tight but Erin snapped a couple of adorable photos of Patrick and I crammed in the backseat as we enjoyed some great views of San Francisco on the way down to Stable Cafe.

Mixing Up The Wedding Menu

Stable Cafe was beautiful—the food and desserts were amazing. We also had passed appetizers and a taco bar catered by Nopalito. Their carnitas are out of this world and our guests raved about the food for weeks. For dessert, instead of a wedding cake, we went with a cookie bar baked by GoodChildrenSF. We loved the cookies and we enjoyed them with our guests throughout the rest of the weekend. In retrospect, six cookies per guest was a lot. But hey, nobody minds extra cookies!

Working With Erin Prado And Vivian Chen Photography

Erin was great. She had a knack for catching the sweetest candid photos and captured the city chic vibe we were going for so well. Vivian Chen was super fast in editing the photos and we love how they came out. Our families all commented on how great the photographs turned out from our big day.

Their Advice: Pick The Right Vendors

Identify what matters to you and what doesn’t at the beginning of planning. Based on those priorities, focus on the things that will bring you joy and just let the small stuff go. Also, pick the right vendors. I am an organized person by nature, but we were really proud of how little stress we had leading up to the event and how seamlessly it all came together in the end. Once we booked our team, everything came together easily because each vendor was great at their job.
