This Red Rocks Canyon Engagement is Filled with Copper Hues

Expansive fields, mirrored lake reflections, and bright red rock formations – if we didn’t know any better, we’d think this Red Rocks Canyon engagement session was shot on another planet! In addition to their red antique couch from A Love Tale, Deana wore a sparkly copper gown and Grant wore a sleek suit to juxtapose their location’s rugged outdoors nature with their own personal flair. Rifle Paper Co. Inspired Wedding at DeLille Cellars Chateau

If you love Rifle Paper Co.‘s whimsical paper designs as much as we do, you’ll adore Pauline and Brent’s wedding décor! The couple felt so inspired by their Rifle Paper Co. wedding stationary, they incorporated similar natural pops of pink and sage in their wedding florals, favors, votives, and bridesmaid dresses. Pauline and Brent’s reception décor at DeLille Cellars Chateau featured mind-blowing florals from juliet + lou, rustic farmtables with a touch of romance, and a dessert table to rival all dessert tables. Ryan Flynn Photography captured every heartfelt moment of this couple’s wedding beautifully, from their waterfront first look to their candlelit first dance!

The most important part of planning our wedding was making sure that the day would be a fun and joyful celebration for our family and friends! We wanted it to be one big party!

Our color palette was inspired by the floral designs by Rifle Paper Co. The colors for our bridesmaid dresses, florals, glassybaby votives and favors were all based off of our Rifle Paper Co. wedding invitations.

From Brent: The most memorable part of the day for me would have be our first look. Pauline and I decided not to exchange personal vows during our ceremony and instead, we chose to exchange personal letters during our first look. Pauline also surprised me with a watercolor painting of whales (our favorite animal), which was painted by a local artist.

From Pauline: The entire day was filled with memorable moments; it’s difficult to choose just one! I would agree that the first look was one of the most memorable. I am thankful that we had that time to share together before the ceremony, and I know I will cherish those letters for a lifetime.

Brent and I wanted to share our favorite sweets with our family and friends, so we decided to have an assortment of desserts including cakes & pies from DERU Market (hands down best cakes and pies in town) and Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream (our favorite ice cream). There was literally a line out the door for dessert!
