This Ever After Inspired Elopement at Paisley & Jade is Equal Parts Edgy + Romantic

A table for two with black granite placemats, gold calligraphy signage created by SUKAH & SAI, a nearly-naked drip cake, and silver floor-length Gossamer gown…yes, you could say we’re crushin’ hard on the non-traditional details in this elopement inspiration shoot at Paisley & Jade! The boutique-style rental company provided vintage table decor, an impressive wooden A-frame ceremony backdrop, and the ideal blank-canvas setting to showcase the edgy and romantic vision of Lindsey Paradiso Photography. The florists at Strawberry Fields, Flowers & Finds rounded out the dreamy, fairytale-like vibe with coral, burgundy, and blush floral arrangments, which looked striking against both the bride’s sparkly gown and the wooden table. If you’re looking for ways to incorporate non-traditional yet wildly elegant details into your wedding or elopement, this styled shoot is for you!

Enchanting Industrial Tulsa Wedding at The Pearl District Building

April 21, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

The romance was palpable in Mackenzie and Rob’s Tulsa wedding at The Pearl District Building. The couple used the dark, industrial venue to create the overall vibe, and added only minimal greenery and candles to round out the enchanting feel. Their floral designer, Choctaw Florist, incorporated the prettiest touches of blush and red into the bouquets and boutonnieres, which add just enough color against the brown brick and black metalwork of the space. Mary Fencl Events did a fantastic job making Mackenzie and Rob’s industrial-meets-minimalist vision come to life, and Living Roots photographed it all beautifully!

The Couple:

Mackenzie and Rob

The Wedding:

The Pearl District Building, Tulsa, Oklahoma

When we thought about our wedding we knew that what we wanted most was to enjoy this day with all of our loved ones and to honor God. We wanted our wedding to exemplify Christ because it was our love for him that brought us together and we want Christ to always be the foundation of our marriage. We didn’t want to put on an event we wanted a fun, sincere, and romantic night to start our lives together.

We knew we wanted to have it in Tulsa because it was a special place for us and it was the perfect meeting ground for our families coming from multiple states. The Pearl District Building was amazing at facilitating and bringing our vision to life. We loved the industrial and historical frame of the building with the added touches of mirrors and chandeliers that made it romantic.

It was really important to both of us that our friends and family got a full picture of the both of us and who we are as a couple for our ceremony. Our officiant Rob Hall is a close friend of both of ours and have known us for awhile, and he did an amazing job of doing just that. He spoke of our characters as individuals and of how we complimented each other. We also took communion as our first act as a married couple, and two of our other friends sang and played the guitar while we had that moment together.

Breanna was one of the biggest blessings we could have had on our wedding day! We did our engagement photos with her and her husband Ryan and they were so much fun to work with and she was so professional that we knew the wedding day would be a blast! She was professional, light-hearted, calm, and just let Rob and I enjoy our time together. Sometimes I even forgot she was there! She did not miss a beat and I was comforted throughout the day knowing she wouldn’t miss a moment.

This Ronin Farm Wedding Inspiration Has the Perfect Pop of Mustard Accents

April 21, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

Epoch Co+ Events is bringing us farm-to-table charm all the way from Bryan, Texas with this wedding inspiration at Ronin Farm. Using bohemian and rustic aesthetics for the ceremony, they brought in antique rugs from Vestige Event Rentals for the ceremony aisle runner, set up rows of simple wooden benches, and decked the wooden A-frame ceremony backdrop with lush greenery, blooms, and grasses from Urban Rubbish. For the reception table, they used the same lush greenery with additional mustard-colored blooms and added muted ceramics, black candles, and mustard napkins to add a vintage feel. The bride’s braided half-up hairstyle and lace Rue De Seine gown, along with the groom’s relaxed brown and burgundy, were perfect for this outdoorsy affair. And, of course, the evening wouldn’t be complete without a modern black, white, and gold drip cake created by Truly Scrumptious that looks almost too pretty to eat! Century Tree Productions brought this impeccably styled shoot to life in brilliant detail, and we can’t wait to see how this inspires future farm weddings!
