Planning your wedding is an exciting journey, and one of the first things you’ll want to set up is your wedding website. A well-designed site keeps guests informed, helps with RSVPs, and adds a personal touch to your big day. But with so many wedding website builders out there, how do you choose the right one?

To make it easier, we’ve broken down the best wedding websites based on pricing, features, and usability. Whether you’re looking for a free, no-fuss solution or a high-end customizable site, this guide will help you find the perfect fit for your wedding needs.

The 8 Best Wedding Websites That Every Couple Should Know

1. Lovebird

Price: Free

What We Like: Lovebird is a stylish free wedding website platform that gives you more polish and guest communication tools than many other free builders. With Lovebird, you can customize colors, fonts, imagery, and pages to match your wedding vibe. A custom URL and matching digital stationery give you that cohesive “look and feel,” while features like password protection, QR code access, and flexible content sections make it functional and helpful for guests. Everything’s mobile-friendly, too, so your wedding site stays as sharp on phones as it does on desktop. Couples can also coordinate their website with matching digital save the dates, invitations, and thank you cards.

What Could Be Better: As with many free platforms, some advanced features require upgrading or add-ons. Also, since it’s newer to the free website space, some of the templates are still growing in variety, especially for couples who want very niche or flashy design styles.

2. Zola

Price: Free

What We Like: Zola’s wedding website builder stands out for its seamless integration with their popular registry platform, creating a truly unified experience for couples and guests alike. The interface is refreshingly intuitive—even if you’ve never built a website before, you’ll find the clean, straightforward design easy to navigate. Beyond the basics, Zola includes thoughtful features like RSVP management, direct registry integration, and coordinating digital invitations that tie your entire wedding ecosystem together in one convenient place.

What Could Be Better: While Zola excels at simplicity, couples seeking extensive creative control may find the customization options somewhat limited. Certain text fields are locked and cannot be edited, which can be frustrating when trying to achieve a specific tone or include particular information. Additionally, custom domain names aren’t available, and each site displays a Zola-branded footer that cannot be removed—a small but noticeable trade-off for the free service.

3. Minted

Price: Free, or a one-time $15 upgrade to custom URL

What We Like: Minted brings its signature elegance to wedding websites with designs that beautifully coordinate with their invitation suites, creating a cohesive aesthetic from start to finish. The platform is user-friendly and straightforward, making it easy to establish a polished online presence. The $15 custom URL upgrade unlocks premium features like your own domain name and an expanded photo gallery, plus you’ll earn a $50 credit toward Minted’s stationery collection.

What Could Be Better: Minted prioritizes visual elegance over advanced functionality. The templates are relatively simple with limited text editing and customization options. If you’re looking for interactive features or extensive personalization, other platforms may offer more flexibility.

4. Joy

Price: Free

What We Like: Joy is a completely free wedding website builder with a sleek, user-friendly interface. It offers an intuitive design, mobile-friendly layout, RSVP management, and a matching app for on-the-go updates. Plus, they’ve expanded their stationery offerings, allowing couples to order printed invites that match their wedding website.

What Could Be Better: Joy doesn’t offer custom domain names, and while their templates are modern, many designs lean toward floral and rustic aesthetics. Additionally, their photo uploader doesn’t allow resizing or repositioning, which can be limiting for couples with large images.

5. Squarespace

Price: Starting at $16/month (billed annually), 14-day free trial

What We Like: Squarespace is the go-to choice for tech-savvy couples or anyone with a specific creative vision who wants complete control over their wedding website. Unlike template-locked platforms, Squarespace offers extensive design flexibility and customization options that let you build something truly unique. If you have web design experience or the ambition to create a highly personalized site with custom layouts, sophisticated animations, and a distinctive aesthetic, Squarespace gives you the tools to make it happen. The result is a polished, professional-looking site that can be tailored to match your exact vision.

What Could Be Better: Squarespace is pricier than wedding-specific platforms, and because it’s designed as a general website builder rather than a wedding-focused tool, you’re paying for features you may not need. Wedding-specific functionality like RSVP management requires more setup compared to dedicated wedding site builders, and the platform can feel more complex than necessary for couples who just want something simple.

6. Say I Do

Price: Free for up to 85 guests, $50-$99 for upgrades

What We Like: Say I Do offers an all-in-one platform for wedding planning, including guest list and RSVP management, seating charts, and digital announcements. It’s designed for ease of use, with templates that complement a variety of wedding styles.

What Could Be Better: The free version is limited to 85 guests, and unlocking full features requires a paid upgrade. Branding from Say I Do is also included on free websites.

7. Appy Couple

Price: Starting at $39 one-time fee (Boutique Collection) or $89 (Luxury Collection), plus optional $19.99/year for custom domain

What We Like: Appy Couple offers a feature-rich experience with a private app for guests, digital RSVPs, and fun extras like interactive photo-sharing. Their designs are modern and stylish, often created in collaboration with top designers.

What Could Be Better: Customization is somewhat restricted, as there are only two main layouts to choose from. The one-time payment might also feel steep compared to free alternatives.

8. Riley & Grey

Price: $39/month or $299/year

What We Like: Riley & Grey positions itself as the luxury option with high-end, designer templates that exude sophistication. The platform features curated designs with carefully selected custom fonts and trendy backgrounds that you won’t find elsewhere. Their standout “White Glove” customer service provides personalized support throughout your planning journey, and couples appreciate the attention to detail. With unlimited updates, a custom domain name included, and strong privacy controls, it’s a premium experience from start to finish.in name, and strong privacy controls, couples can create and manage their wedding website with ease and confidence.

What Could Be Better: The higher price point makes this a luxury investment compared to free alternatives. While the designs are beautiful, customization is limited—fonts and layouts are fixed, so you’ll be working within their carefully curated aesthetic rather than creating something completely custom. Some users have noted that the site builder can feel a bit clunky despite the premium price tag.

Your wedding website is just the beginning of your planning journey. Whether you prioritize customization, affordability, or easy organization, the next step is making your vision come to life. Check out our planning and budget guides to bring every detail together seamlessly!

Finding a Destination That Captures Their Spirit

When it came to location, Antigua checked every box. Walkable streets, breathtaking churches, unique venues, rich culture, and a sense of new adventure for their guests. The couple envisioned bringing a Catholic South Indian wedding to this centuries‑old city, and with the help of their planner, they found the perfect date, location, and local team to make it happen.

“From the beginning, Sparks Weddings carried so much weight for us,” Stacy shared. “They were our eyes and ears on the ground and respected our wishes every step of the way.”

Bringing Traditions to Life Through Their Ceremony

The heart of this South Indian Catholic wedding was the Syro Malankara Catholic rite, a ceremony rich with symbolism. The couple’s favorite moment was the Crowning Ceremony, where the priest placed real crowns on their heads, signifying their roles as king and queen in the kingdom of heaven.

They also wove in a special nod to Kevin’s Syro Malabar Catholic tradition by receiving Holy Communion alongside their parents, blending both of their church customs into one deeply personal service.

Celebrating with a Full Week of Events and Activities

From the start, Stacy and Kevin wanted to do everything for their guests. That meant hosting not just one event, but an entire wedding week. Festivities kicked off with a casual welcome at El Barrio, followed by the traditional Madhuram Veppu in the basement of their hotel, complete with speeches, dancing, and sweets.

Perhaps the most unforgettable pre-wedding moment was the volcano hike up Pacaya. “It was such a wonderful way to start our wedding week doing a hobby we enjoy the most—hiking in God’s beautiful creations,” Stacy recalled.

Making Every Guest Feel Part of Their Love Story

Their wedding week was packed with thoughtful, creative touches. Welcome bags included cultural snacks, Antigua fun facts, guest “awards,” and tributes to loved ones. Ceremony booklets featured a watercolor portrait of the couple, and Stacy wore a Sagittarius constellation necklace to celebrate their shared zodiac sign.

At the reception, guests found their seats via polaroid photos of themselves with the couple, keepsakes they could take home. Special cocktails fused Indian and Latin flavors, and late-night coffee and taco stations kept energy high. The night ended with surprise fireworks, making for a perfect cinematic close.

The Perfect Ending to a Multi-Day Celebration

Looking back, Stacy and Kevin wouldn’t change a thing—except maybe having that backup rain plan. “Even though rain is incredibly unusual during the dry season, it’s always good to have a backup plan in case anything were to happen,” Stacy said. From the emotional ceremony to the all‑out dance floor and grand fireworks finale, their South Indian Catholic wedding was exactly what they envisioned: a beautiful blend of cultures, traditions, and the people who matter most.

A Warm and Wildflower-Filled Portugal Destination Wedding at a Historic Manor

August 20, 2025 | justine

A ski date gone wrong—complete with swapped gear and plenty of falling—was the start of Lauren and Jake’s adventure together. Years later, that same playful spirit shaped a wedding that would take them across the globe to the rolling hills of Portugal. Surrounded by wildflowers, mismatched bridesmaids’ dresses, and the charm of a historic manor, their Portugal destination wedding captured by Junebug photographer Pedro Filipe Fotografia brought 150 loved ones together for a weekend that was as joyful as it was romantic.

What We Love About This Portugal Destination Wedding:

  • A wildflower-filled palette with mismatched bridesmaids’ dresses in warm, autumnal tones
  • The groom’s unexpected tan velvet jacket paired with classic black accents
  • Live painters creating guest portraits as a one-of-a-kind wedding favor
  • Personal touches, including custom cutouts of their dog Deli for the dance floor
  • The lush greenery and crawling ivy of the property that brought romance and texture

Wedding Fashion with Personality

While the setting in Portugal set the tone, the couple’s fashion choices brought it to life. For the welcome party in Lisbon at Hotel Mundial, Lauren opted for a modern knit maxi dress from SER.O.YA , perfectly contrasting her more traditional wedding gown.

“I thought I wanted a simple dress, but I ended up gravitating toward an A-line with lace and special detailing. I felt like a princess,” she said.

Jake skipped the expected black or navy tux and instead chose a tan velvet jacket with a bow tie, black pants, and velvet loafers.

The wedding party also reflected the couple’s warm, laid-back aesthetic. Bridesmaids wore dresses of their choice within a defined autumnal color palette, and groomsmen looked sharp in navy tuxedos.

Finding the Perfect Venue in Portugal

From the start, Lauren and Jake wanted a wedding that felt colorful, romantic, and full of personality. They considered their priorities early on. Focusing not just on how the day would look, but how it would feel.

“For us, we wanted the wedding to look beautiful, but the vibe and food and beverage were equally as important,” Lauren shared. “That meant allocating a majority of our budget towards food, drinks, and music.”

After countless hours of online research and friend referrals, they found Solar de Pancas. A stunning historic manor with an attached tented space that seamlessly connected indoors and outdoors. “We wanted a venue large enough for 150 guests but still intimate. Solar de Pancas perfectly struck that balance.”

Surrounded by ivy-covered walls and golden autumn light, Lauren and Jake exchanged vows in a semi-circle of white chairs that brought everyone closer to the moment. Bright florals framed the altar, while each guest found a custom “Wedding Post”—a playful nod to the couple’s story. The ceremony was simple, warm, and personal, ending in cheers as they shared their first kiss.

Adding  Interactive and Playful Touches to the Celebration

One of the standout elements of this Portugal destination wedding was the live guest portrait painting during cocktail hour by Bloom Bliss Art. “We love hearing that many of our guests now have their portraits hanging in their homes.”

Under a clear-top tent, guests gathered around bamboo chairs and tables dressed in white linens, colorful blooms, and floral napkins topped with custom tile place cards. A long head table anchored the space, framed by a lush hanging floral installation. Since their beloved dog Deli couldn’t travel, they found a creative way to include her—printing custom dog head cutouts for guests to wave on the dance floor.

Why a Planner Made All the Difference

Planning a wedding overseas is no small task, which is why Lauren and Jake say their planner was essential. “He brought our vision to life in the most beautiful way,” Lauren shared. His guidance helped them navigate everything from securing music and photography to balancing their budget priorities.

Their advice for other couples planning a Portugal destination wedding?  “Know your non-negotiables and stick to them. Enjoy your day to the fullest, and if you can—get a wedding planner.”
