3. Create A Wedding Binder For Your Wedding Day 

Having all of your important documents in one place will help you avoid any stressful situations. This is something you can pass off to your day-of coordinator, your maid of honor, your best man, or keep it safe with you. 

Here’s what you should include in your wedding day binder:

• Contact information of you and everyone in your wedding parties

4. Text The Newlyweds During Their Wedding 

Odds are, as a guest, you’ll be snapping loads of photos throughout the whole wedding day. We’re talking about those photos before the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, and even when you hit the dance floor at the reception. 5. Invite Your Guests To Join The Father-Daughter Dance 

This TikTok wedding tip is making that father-daughter dance moment even more special. Start off on the dance floor, just the two of you. About 30 seconds to a minute into your dance, invite all dads and daughters to join you on the dance floor.

6. Schedule Alone Time in Your Wedding Day Timeline 

When your hair and makeup are all complete, schedule a block of alone time before your first look. And when we say alone time, we mean alone time, just you—no wedding party, no guests, no significant other. This will allow you to rest up, prepare for what’s to come, and just soak up the day you’ve spent countless hours planning.

7. Assign Wedding Party Tasks 

You’ve spent months planning your big day. Now it’s time to enjoy it with the help of your wedding party. Before the big day create a list of tasks you might need help with on your wedding day. Have your wedding party pick two-three tasks they want to be in charge of. This is the key to avoiding that wedding day stress. 

Here are just a few examples of tasks you might need help with on your wedding day:

• Pick up breakfast and coffee before getting ready 
• Keep track of hair and makeup timeslots

8. Bring An Extra Pair Of Shoes 

Have an extra pair of shoes handy, a pair that you don’t mind scruffing up a bit. This will be perfect when it comes time to hit the dance floor—especially if you’ve chosen to rock those sometimes uncomfortable high-heels.

9. Make Sure Your Table Linens are Steamed or Ironed

Your table linens might not be at the top of your to-do list, especially at the beginning of your wedding planning journey. But, when it comes to hunting down your dream venue, it should be on your mind. Typically linens are provided by your venue, but this should be one of the questions you ask before booking. 

Ask if linens are provided and if there are any extra costs. You’ll also want to make sure the linens provided will be steamed or ironed. You spend such a large amount of money on decor, you want it to look nice, crisp, and clean.
