As some would say, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. And it definitely was true for Sally and Jeremy. With both of their birthdays falling around the holiday season, they knew that when it came to tie the knot, a Christmas wedding was the perfect fit. Setting a chic and festive scene using arrangements of white blooms and evergreens, towering Christmas trees, and lots of twinkling lights—they had a dazzling 60s-inspired Christmas Sequoyah Country Club wedding.
With its floor-to-ceiling arched windows, vaulted ceilings, and vintage chandeliers—the Spanish-style club rooms fit their theme perfectly. For their magical ceremony, an evergreen-lined aisle led to an altar framed with a lush floral arch and tinsel-filled trees. The ultimate yuletide cheer was further achieved at their reception. Guests dined on tablescapes filled with greenery garlands and candles with holiday gift crackers as an accent. To tie it all together, lit-up trees added that familiar, cozy warmth to the space.
And not only that, the pair brought high sophistication to the event with their wedding attire. Sally looked elegant in her sleek high-neck gown, while Jeremy rocked a classic tux. It was a beautiful and timeless celebration with a touch of old glamor, exactly how they envisioned it to be. Why A 60s-Inspired Christmas Sequoyah Country Club Wedding
Both of us are holiday babies, December 28 and December 31 birthdays, so we knew we wanted a magical Christmas wedding. Aside from celebrating with our nearest and dearest, sharing our vows under massive silver tip Christmas trees. We wanted something classic, old-glamor—think 60s tinsel-covered holiday party. We chose the Sequoyah Country Club because my parents got married in the same venue, also around Christmas time. We’ve had many special events there over the years and just felt right for our wedding. We didn’t waver from our inspiration and it turned out better than we could have imagined
How They Created Their Wedding Budget
Our wedding planner was heaven-sent. We would have been lost without her. She was by our side every step of the way, always offering advice and thinking ten steps again. We asked her a million questions to get a ballpark figure. This was tough as we needed a baseline wedding budget to work with. Ultimately, we tried to identify what was most important and what we could sacrifice to stay within a comfortable number. Our advice: trust the professionals!
