Moody and Romantic Willow Inn Elopement

August 15, 2021 | kailey

We give you full permission to ditch the bright, summer color palette if that’s not calling to you. Instead, you can opt for a gorgeously dark, moody, and romantic vibe like Giacomo and Domenico. Wedding planner Chic et Champagne partnered with a talented team of wedding vendors to create this English pub inspired elopement in Hudson, Quebec. From the burgundy velvet suits to the warm, jewel toned color palette, every element of this Willow Inn elopement radiates unconventionality

With an English cottage vibe and jaw-dropping lake and mountain views, Willow Inn proves to be a dreamy venue for any wedding style and size. The secluded, waterfront ceremony location was a historic residential property that has since been transformed into a stunning event space. To preserve the venue’s natural beauty, Chic et Champagne complemented the historic charm with dark and elaborate floral arrangements.

Photographer and Junebug member Julia Garcia-Prat Photography captured every detail that made this Canadian elopement one for the books. If you’re searching for ways to twist traditional wedding elements and make them their own, you’ve come to the right place. Gorgeous Rainy Day Bower Estate Wedding

August 14, 2021 | riley

While many couples fear rain on their wedding day, it’s actually considered good luck in many cultures. And Jordan and Deshaun’s rainy day Bower Estate wedding is proof that not only is this true, but rain also makes for some seriously beautiful wedding photos! The couple tied the knot in an intimate outdoor ceremony surrounded by Queensland’s lush national parks before taking cover in a fairy-lit tent that can only be described as magical.

While Australia’s natural beauty during a rainstorm is hard to beat, the wedding fashion was the true star of the show. Jordan looked truly stunning in a blush custom Begitta gown complete with polka-dots and an oh-so-sexy slit, while Deshaun matched nature beautifully in his stone-colored suit. Not to mention the button-down ivory satin Shonna Joy bridesmaid dresses that tied both the bride and groom’s looks together perfectly.

So if earthy and effortless is what you’re looking for, keep scrolling through to see the beautiful photos captured by A’Daw Photography. And who knows, you may just change your mind about rainy day weddings.

Effortless Wedding Day Fashion

I always knew that our bridal party style would be made up of natural colors. I love unique pieces so getting a custom couture dress made by Begitta was the perfect choice. My bridesmaids wore cream color Shona Joy dresses, and the boys had tailored stone color suits. I would say our overall style was natural and effortless. We had fresh, natural makeup looks by Alex Ouston and simple hairstyles by The Hair Therapist.

A Memorable Rainy Walk Down The Aisle

We loved the entire day! Even the moments of sprinkling rain. Having all of our closest friends and family together was a pretty overwhelming feeling. There was so much love and happiness amongst everyone, and that’s the most special memory for us. We spent the day with everyone we love so much and who loves us. My uncle walking me down the aisle was such a special moment I’ll never forget.

Natural Vibes At The Bower Estate Wedding

Our wedding style was natural, effortless, and unrefined. It was made up of earthy, neutral color tones and was set amongst endless lush greenery and fairy lights. We had a family-style banquet and a beautiful caravan bar for everyone to enjoy. Our wedding had the most magical feel. It was filled with timeless selections that I know we’ll be obsessed with forever!

Why An Intimate Tulum Wedding

We wanted something true to our style, which is intimate, real, relaxed, and non-traditional. I wanted the colors to honor the colors that surround our everyday lives and go with the season of the time of year we got married. Our house is surrounded by over 40 plants, which is why I wanted green and terracotta because it reminds me of our home. We wanted everything to be outdoors for COVID reasons and our love for the ocean and outdoors made it easy.

The Couples’ Advice: Create A Wedding Budget

I am in finance, so I am an expert at budgeting, but I knew that it was important to stay under a certain amount based on the money we had saved and could save over six months of planning. We made it a point to have spreadsheets as we paid for things. Account for the most important things first and then work your way down to things you can be pickier about the cost or do yourself.

The Perks Of Having A Small Wedding

Because we only had 23 guests, we got to speak to every single person at our wedding and even got to take a group picture with everyone who attended. Everyone who wanted to speak also got to make a speech or toast, and they all came with tears and laughter.
