We’re already predicting some incredible themes like “tropulance,” desert chic, and moroccan—and we’re ready for all the unexpected goodness 2020 will also bring! The coming year is sure to be one where guests’ with a sweet tooth will undoubtedly leave satisfied. So, we put together a list of six wedding cake ideas for 2020 to get your mouth watering and inspiration boards populating!

CREATIVE DECORATION

Florals won’t be the only decor we see on cakes this year! We’re loving how our brides are bringing in elements of their wedding theme into the cake design — from macramé to creative displays, it’s time to think outside-the-box for your cake presentation.

Time to bring out grandma’s recipe book because pies are here to stay! We saw this trend start to come about in 2019, and it looks like it’s here to stay. Pro tip: If your family members want to help with your day, ask them each to bring a different pie to deck out your dessert table!
