The Sweetest At-Home Elopement Inspiration You’ve Ever Seen

May 12, 2017 | Junebug Weddings

A relaxed breakfast for two, an intimate ceremony in the living room, and a vintage car getaway are just a few of the sweet details you will find in this at-home elopement inspiration in Nashville, Tennessee. Inspired by couples who prefer to say “I do” in the comforts of home, Swak Photography and Inspired Help event planners created this shoot to be simple and budget-friendly without compromising on great style and dreamy details. We love how food was the centerpiece of this elopement inspiration, from the Sweet Biscuit Co. breakfast scones to the scrumptious dessert table created by Baked In Nashville. We also love the bride’s fabulous fashion moments that included a green silk Hey Wanderer robe for breakfast, a structured Sarah Seven wedding gown, and a stylish green jumpsuit for the getaway ride!

From the photographer: A wedding planner friend of mine and I saw a need to help inspire couples with images on an intimate elopement ceremony set in a bed and breakfast style venue. We love the sweetness of the two having breakfast together enjoying in the giddiness of what the day will hold! They enjoy tasty homemade scones and biscuits with coffee and laughs. Once they got ready separately, we brought them together for a first look and then to the ceremony inside the house adorned with romantic floral wallpaper. After the ceremony and cake cutting, we went into some portraits of the two. To finish it all off they exited in a shower of fresh flowers and a sweet vintage car! All in all our goal was to make this shoot seem sweet, simple, and do-able by just about any bride on a limited budget and small to no guest list.
