These Grooms Were Charmed by Terraza Trinitate for Their San Miguel Wedding – And You Will Be Too!

June 17, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

Rob and Jake’s wedding at Terraza Trinitate in San Miguel was bursting with vivid colors and festive vibes, all set against the backdrop of old world Mexican charm. The couple exchanged vows in the courtyard of Casa Tortugas and then danced through the streets with their friends, family, and a Mariachi band as they made their way to the reception venue. The planning team at San Miguel Weddings honed in on Rob and Jake’s impeccable style and combined that with the vibrancy of Mexican culture to create a visually stunning design that was glamorous, festive, and totally unique. Pierce Photography did a remarkable job capturing the balance between the quiet, intimate moments Rob and Jake spent together and the over-the-top joyful moments in the streets and on the dance floor they spent with their loved ones.

This Smoke Tree Ranch Wedding is Laid-Back Palm Springs Elegance

June 17, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

If we had to describe Rebecca and Josh’s wedding at Smoke Tree Ranch in just four words, they would be: eclectic, retro, laid-back, and elegant. Set against the desert landscape, the couple channeled classic Palm Springs vibes with sophisticated attire, which included the bride’s Grace Loves Lace gown and glamorous hair and makeup and the groom’s suave black velvet suit. The Dainty Lion created stunning floral displays in shades of red, cream, and coral, and Planks & Patina provided farmhouse tables, wood chairs, and wooden benches to infuse a bit of rustic charm that helped with the laid-back, backyard house-party feel the couple wanted. By Amy Lynn photography captured every moment of this exceptional desert wedding in brilliant detail, and we’re especially in love with the couple’s intimate portrait session among the cacti that showcased their killer style and carefree personalities.

The Wedding:

I picked the first dress I tried on! I can’t say I’m low maintenance enough to have only tried on one dress but the whole process was pretty quick and painless for me. I knew I wanted a long sleeve dress so that limited my options. When I first saw my dress, Inca by Grace Loves Lace, on Instagram I knew it was perfect. I wanted my bridesmaids to feel comfortable and beautiful in their dresses so I had them choose their own within my color scheme. The result was fantastic and looks incredible in photos!

We wanted an elegant but laid-back vibe…more of a backyard setting than a hotel ballroom. We also wanted it to flow effortlessly from one space to another and for our guests to feel totally at ease. It’s stereotypical but Pinterest was definitely a huge help in identifying what we liked and didn’t like. Ultimately we ended up with an eclectic style that perfectly suited the retro elegance of our venue while still being low-key enough to fit the house party vibe we were going for!

The whole day was a series of incredible moments but one that sticks out for me is the time we spent alone between the ceremony and reception. Our wedding planning picked us up in a golf cart and had drinks and appetizers waiting in our room. We spent a couple of minutes together letting it sink in that we were actually married before joining our guests. It was really surreal and special.

This Urban Wedding Inspiration Will Make You Reconsider Having an Outdoor Wedding

June 16, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

While most people assume outdoor weddings are the most romantic way to go, Josée Lamarre Photographie and this talented team gave a compelling argument for how romantic an indoor wedding can be with this urban wedding inspiration shoot! The event planners of Das Hochzeitswerk and designers at Tischerie put a vintage-inspired twist on modern industrial vibes at Werk3Studio with an elegant gold, navy, and forest green color palette, a mix of gold decor, and ambient candlelight to set the romantic mood. Even the lace-covered cake created by Alma Pastele had a vintage look that felt totally modern. To add even more modern flair, the bride wore a chic Lilly Ingenhoven sheath gown paired with statement jewelry and hair accessories from NEA Bridal. Although this indoor wedding had a distinct worn, industrial feel, the fresh florals, elegant color palette, and modern elements proved that urban spaces can be made into dreamy wedding wonderlands!
