Stunning, Colorful, And Magical Moc Chau Elopement

August 19, 2021 | Junebug Weddings

Surrounded by picturesque waterfalls, colorful florals, and their love for one another, Garry and Romeo’s Moc Chau elopement was both stunning and magical. After finding a place that was off the beaten path, they chose the province of Son La, Northern Vietnam. This romantic location was the perfect spot to celebrate their love and exchange their vows. Even in unprecedented times, they were able to create the elopement of their dreams with their amazing team of vendors

With the help of wedding planner Bayla Vietnam Wedding Destination Planner and floral designer Primavera Flower Decor, they elevated their elopement by dousing a sailboat and their table in colorful florals. Plus, they added a unique message to the sail that read, “souls tend to go back to who feels like home”—talk about butterflies in our stomachs. Thankfully, wedding photographer Kien’s Collection captured their elopement from start to finish for all of us to enjoy.

Planning An Elopement During A Pandemic

We’re proud of having been able to pull through despite the restrictions of the pandemic. It was a tough process to select the venue, the date, and the people involved but everything went smoothly. We’re proud of the planning and the magical outcome reflected through our photos and videos.

Elopement Planning Advice

This wedding wouldn’t have been possible without the huge support from our wedding planners, photographers, and everyone else who put a lot of effort into our wedding. If we have to pick just one piece of advice, it would be “choose your perfect wedding planner.”

A Moc Chau Elopement

We wanted a place that was still quite unknown to the public—off the beaten track, if you will. So, we opted for these amazing and picturesque waterfalls in the province of Son La, Northern Vietnam.

Two Heartfelt Ceremonies At This Andalusia Estate Wedding

August 18, 2021 | Junebug Weddings

Following wedding traditions can be incredibly special, but it’s even better when you make them unique to your relationship. Emily and Chase wanted to blend their two cultures for their Logan Hotel and Andalusia Estate wedding, so they had two ceremonies—a traditional Western and a traditional Hindu.

With the help from wedding planner Kyle Michelle Weddings, the Andalusia Estate was transformed from a vision of white, black, gold, and green to hues of pink, red, orange, and gold overnight. And to make this day even more unique, they had a surprise Bali dance and late-night McDonalds. Scroll down to see these unique ceremonies as captured by Hudson Nichols.

The Couple:

Emily and Chase

The Wedding:

Andalusia Estate, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Proudly Combining Cultures and Traditions

The uniqueness of both days was one of the proudest parts of our wedding design. But, the most emotionally proud moment was the combination of our cultures, the mixture of traditions, and the families and friends coming together as one for our special days.

Two Days Worth of Memories

At the Hindu Ceremony, everyone wore a Sari and completely entered into another realm of culture. It was special to see everyone be open, accepting, and be part of the special day. For the American Ceremony, the surprise Bali dance from the bridal party and close friends was an amazing surprise.

Choosing an Andalusia Estate Wedding

The Andalusia Estate is very private and only holds a handful of weddings a year to keep their grounds sacred. That was really cool and a special perk for our wedding venue!

A Wedding With McNuggets

We love McDonalds. So we had McDonalds ordered at the end of the night. That way, everyone could grab some McNuggets and fries. That was a unique and fun gift for us to share.

Glamorous Urban Wild Carrot STL Elopement Inspiration

August 17, 2021 | riley

There’s something about monochromatic color palettes that we find so enchanting. So it’s no wonder that we’re utterly obsessed with this Wild Carrot STL elopement inspiration shoot put together by Junebug member and planner Coda’s Events. From the exposed brick of the venue to the swoon-worthy florals from Rudy’s Flower Truck, every detail was carefully curated to create a day that was as industrial as it was luxurious.

Not only was the all-white decor showstopping, but the wedding fashion was next level too. The bride looked incredible in her Rebecca Schoneveld off-the-shoulder gown, complete with metallic detailing and a high slit. Meanwhile, the groom contrasted the brightness with his snazzy all-black The Suit Shop suit. The couple’s outfits created some beautiful dimension in the photos captured by Tammi Camp Photography

Whether you’re looking for elopement inspo or just planning the monochromatic day of your dreams, you’re going to want to scroll to see the rest of this opulent, urban affair!
