Planning your wedding is an exciting journey, and one of the first things you’ll want to set up is your wedding website. A well-designed site keeps guests informed, helps with RSVPs, and adds a personal touch to your big day. But with so many wedding website builders out there, how do you choose the right one?

To make it easier, we’ve broken down the best wedding websites based on pricing, features, and usability. Whether you’re looking for a free, no-fuss solution or a high-end customizable site, this guide will help you find the perfect fit for your wedding needs.

The 8 Best Wedding Websites That Every Couple Should Know

1. Joy

Price: Free

What We Like: Joy is a completely free wedding website builder with a sleek, user-friendly interface. It offers an intuitive design, mobile-friendly layout, RSVP management, and a matching app for on-the-go updates. Plus, they’ve expanded their stationery offerings, allowing couples to order printed invites that match their wedding website.

What Could Be Better: Joy doesn’t offer custom domain names, and while their templates are modern, many designs lean toward floral and rustic aesthetics. Additionally, their photo uploader doesn’t allow resizing or repositioning, which can be limiting for couples with large images.

2. Zola

Price: Free

What We Like: Zola’s wedding website seamlessly integrates with their well-known registry platform, making it a convenient one-stop shop. Their website builder is simple, clean, and easy to navigate, even for tech novices. It includes RSVP tracking, registry integration, and matching digital invitations.

What Could Be Better: Zola’s customization options are limited, and certain text fields cannot be edited. Custom domain names are also not available, and there’s a persistent footer promoting Zola’s services at the bottom of each site.

3. Wix

Price: Free with ads, $17/month for premium

What We Like: Wix allows for a high degree of customization, letting couples adjust text, colors, and layouts to match their wedding vision. The drag-and-drop editor is user-friendly, and the photo uploader is one of the easiest to work with.

What Could Be Better: The free version includes a prominent Wix-branded banner, which can only be removed with a premium upgrade. While Wix offers flexibility, it may be overwhelming for couples who prefer a more guided setup.

4. Minted

What We Like: Say I Do offers an all-in-one platform for wedding planning, including guest list and RSVP management, seating charts, and digital announcements. It’s designed for ease of use, with templates that complement a variety of wedding styles.

What We Like: Appy Couple offers a feature-rich experience with a private app for guests, digital RSVPs, and fun extras like interactive photo-sharing. Their designs are modern and stylish, often created in collaboration with top designers.

What We Like: Squarespace is perfect for couples who want a visually striking wedding website with elegant photo galleries. The site builder is sleek, modern, and packed with customization options.

  1. Great article Gabby ! I also found, albeit a little cookie cutter, that the Knot free website was just what I needed. You don’t get your own specific URL but you get free templates from Minted, Wedding Paper Divas, etc. It was also easy to integrate my registries with the webpage. Worked perfectly for me !

  2. My fiancé and I went with WeddingWoo. We found the customization abilities there to be the best to show off our engagement photos. It’s super easy! The interface is quite straightforward and I found the easiest to work with. My friend used it for her wedding and told me about them. I really liked how unique my website looked compared to all the other options I tried.

    http://www.weddingwoo.com

    • Thanks for the suggestion, Tiffany!

  3. Great list, Gabby! My (now) husband and I have been super happy with Joy. Although it’s not as powerful as we would have hoped, they have big plans for the future. We found the guest communication feature to be invaluable, and we absolutely loved the clean, simple designs. Several months after our wedding, we still return to our app to ooh and ahh over the hundreds of guest photos. It feels like a gift. I highly recommend Joy!

  4. While searching for a good wedding website builder- offering many of the features outlined in your blog- I came across Joy. So far, I have loved the experience in developing our custom site and it has been extremely easy to use. The best part being, its free to use!

Although, there could have been a bit more room for customization, the website is more than capable of meeting our needs. It is well developed, responds quickly and is very user friendly. The Joy staff are also readily available and responsive to your questions.

  5. Great list, Gabby! While searching for a good wedding website builders I came across Joy. I think it is pretty easy to use for us mortals :)

  6. This website has given me and my guests the ability to see not only my story that I would tell over and over again at the wedding, but an easy transaction for our my guests travel needs and questions. I am so thankful for the friendly and easy accessible webpage for this big endeavor.

  7. After trying out a few options we settled on Joy – they made it really easy to build a functional and beautiful site while offering some options for customization. The support team is also very responsive and super helpful!

  8. Nice article Gabby. We used a website called OurBigDayInfo Wedding Sites. One of their features which we really loved was their ‘RSVP Reports’. Each week you receive (via email) a spreadsheet of all RSVPs submitted. It was a useful for getting a bird’s eye view of who is going, what their contact number/email is etc. Their customer service is also super and they great at helping get your RSVP form setup with your own questions (we collected our guest’s wedding meals on our RSVP). Their setup was pretty simple too. They do a once off payment – but you get a lot for it. They are at http://www.ourbigdayinfo.com Good luck! Babs xo

  9. We went with http://www.weddingpixie.com for our up and coming big day! When we were researching to begin with we honestly found it very hard to find a company whose designs weren’t cheesy or didn’t cost the earth! Really happy with our site now and only took a few minutes to set up…happy days!

  10. We used Cordially.co the invitation emails sent from the app are configured so as it is from our email account. This way we don’t spam our guests and they click to open their invitation and answer RSVPs. And most importantly designs are very cool and versatile.

  11. In the wake of experimenting with a couple of alternatives we settled on Joy – they made it truly simple to manufacture an utilitarian and wonderful site while offering a few choices for customization. The help group is likewise exceptionally responsive and super accommodating!

  12. We found Say I do (https://sayi.do/) to be the easiest to use. Had a look at few of these, but their backend was nowhere near as easy to use as Say I do. Not sure how these guys haven’t been added to your list :/

  13. I think http://cordially.co is a one-of-the-king option. It was hard to find because it is new, but the design and edit features are something totally different than other website builders.

  14. We would recommend Eazy plan (www.eazyplan.com). This tool helps you see if the venue of your dreams is available for your wedding date. If it is not, but your date is flexible, you can find an available date around and still have your wedding at the venue of your dreams! That helped us a lot while planning.

  15. I highly recommend https://jollymoments.com since I recently used it for my cousin’s wedding and I was impressed!

  16. Totally for https://eazyplan.com Although you can’t really edit the style of your website and will have it very apple.com-style, it’s awesome because:
    1. All details are inserted automatically from your wedding setup (you don’t spend any time creating it)
    2. The guests can easily select everything you ask about and it is saved directly to your guest list
    3. It’s absolutely free and feels like there’s a wedding planner sitting inside the app that helps and guides you.

  17. Thanks for sharing it.

  18. Thanks for sharing

  19. update your list to include

    https://blissandbone.com/

they have a highly customizable website for the minimalistic modern bride that is very beautiful! I recommend to everyone!

  20. I think you should add Say I Do to this list. I have tried all of the ones in the list and a couple from the comments. Say i do had the best system and some of the best designs.

Some of the sites in this list arent even wedding specific! Come on Gabby!

In all seriousness, thanks heaps for the blog. It really helped with my research!

  21. Thanks for Sharing! I really like the Appy Couple concept with a guide management spreadsheet and fully customized websites with a sort of fresh designs.

  22. Great One! Really Helpful.
