This Colorful Villa Wedding in the South of France is Sure to Make You Smile

If you’ve ever dreamed of a wedding that feels right out of a storybook, Tatiana and John’s colorful villa wedding in France is sure to give you all the inspiration you need! Their planners at 1000 Times Yes worked to create a day that felt intimate and relaxed, while also exuding beauty at every turn. We’re positively obsessed with the Friends references throughout the decor, as well as a glitter bar, and many stunning rentals from Maison Options! Just wait until you see how Rémi Dupac captured every sweet little detail and a stellar reception firework show that was the “icing on the cake” to this picturesque and colorful villa wedding day!

The Couple:

Tatiana & John

The Wedding:

Private Residence, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, France

I wanted the ceremony to be slightly different from the reception and decided to go for only two colors, white and green, that in my opinion underlined the elegancy of it. It was held in the back yard of our white seaside villa, so we decided to keep it more classic but with extraordinary round arch to create a modern touch.

Wedding planning advice from the bride: Keep things organized and don’t panic. And of course make sure you invite the people you want there, not the people who you feel you must invite. The rest will follow.

We really wanted to add some simple but distinctive details that would remind our guests of France. So for the favors we chose mini bottles of Provencal syrup; mimosa, poppy and grapefruit which added an informal twist to our guests’ drinks and created a romantic feel of French countryside.

We both agreed that the only place where we wanted to celebrate our special day was without a doubt our house in the South of France. This is the place where we’ve spend lots of holidays and created all the wonderful memories with our friends and family. So we really wanted to give our wedding this feel and atmosphere of love and warmth. As the house is surrounded by a beautiful garden on the sea coast, we decided to take our inspiration from Mother Nature itself and used the shades of blue, green and pink, going from vibrant to pastel. We used natural wooden furniture for the reception in combination with bright flower arrangements in colored glass and a touch of gold for the setting.

We got married on July 14th in France which is Bastille Day. Right after dinner we all walked with the guests to the port of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat to see the annual fireworks. The beautiful scenery of fireworks reflecting in the Mediterranean, and having all our loved ones around us, was a very special moment.
