Stefanie and Bryce’s wedding at The Croft Downtown was a beautiful mix of industrial chic vibes and minimalist design! The ceremony took place in a historic warehouse, where exposed brick, wood and metal accents, and dozens of candles lining the aisle created a truly romantic and intimate setting. In keeping with their theme, the couple chose not to use any flowers in the decor and relied on succulents and eucalyptus to add texture to the reception tables and the bridal bouquet. The bride looked lovely in a lace mermaid gown by Mikaella Bridal, a natural half-up hairstyle, and Kendra Scott accessories, all of which fit perfectly with the modern feel. When I walked around the corner and saw Bryce standing just feet away, it was all I could do to keep myself from running to him. The moment he turned around and our eyes locked, all the stress and anxiousness of wedding planning melted away. He looked so incredibly handsome in that moment, and we didn’t want to let go of each other!
Our ceremony was so personal to us. The room was absolutely incredible: an old warehouse with exposed brick, sparkling chandeliers, and a backdrop of decorative iron gates. There were hundreds of votive candles that gave everything a glow. We chose not to have a wedding party, and so our march was quick and simple, with Stefanie walking herself down the aisle. We wrote our own vows, and and couldn’t keep a few tears from falling as we struggled through the beautiful words! At the end, our guests through confetti as we walked out to our favorite song by BORNS, “Electric Love“. It was such an exciting moment!
Through the entire process, we made sure to stay connected to the reason we were planning the wedding: to celebrate our love and commitment to each other. Every time we felt overwhelmed with color choices, or fabric decisions, we took a step back to reaffirm what the day was going to be all about. Two days before the wedding, we stole away for an evening out together at our favorite cocktail lounge and shared a few drinks, and talked about everything but the wedding. Having that personal time to reconnect was so special and really helped to center us as we headed into the wedding weekend.
We own a business flipping houses in Phoenix, and we love the industrial, urban styles. We really wanted to bring that in to the wedding, so we chose an industrial warehouse venue in the historic Warehouse District of downtown Phoenix. To tie in to our “industrial chic” vibe, we chose not to have any flowers in the wedding – not one! Instead, we went with hearty eucalyptus and desert flowers, which gave the most gorgeous texture to the tables and my bouquet. We topped it off with hundreds of votive and floating candles to give everything a little sparkle.
