Eclectic Geometric Nashville Wedding at Meadow Hill Farm

June 11, 2017 | juliette

When it comes to charming details, timeless style, and swoon-worthy emotional moments, Allison and Cody’s wedding day at Meadow Hill Farm has it all and then some! You may recognize this dynamic duo as the owners of Cody & Allison Photography — and now as one of our newest Junebug members! With the help of Ninth and Everett event planners, they combined their loves of natural textures, earthy vibes, and geometric shapes to create an eclectic design with nods to both rustic and bohemian aesthetics. The bride was the picture of timeless elegance in a tulle gown and lace overlay from BHLDN, which she paired with a romantic updo accented with a gold headband. The oh-so talented B. Matthews Creative truly captured the spirit, authenticity, and dreaminess of this gorgeous wedding!

We approached planning our wedding with the intention of creating this relaxed and non-traditional wedding environment while still having a level of elegance that made the day feel extremely important and meaningful! We wanted to not only have an aesthetically beautiful day but also have bits and pieces of our personality in the wedding day! For example, the macrame used on the arbor actually hangs above our TV and the cow skulls are actually from our home decor!

There were definitely two wonderful moments that stood out the most! The first one was when we read our vows to each other. We spent a lot of time writing our vows because we wanted our family to be present for them. We wanted our ceremony to not only be based on our coming together but also the accountability that our friends and family hold of reminding us why we got married in the first place!

The second most memorable moment was when we had all 150 of our guests come out into the cocktail garden of Meadow Hill Farm and surround us under over hanging string lights while we did our first dances. It was the most unique and awesome experience!
