When A. and O. had to quickly alter their wedding plans from a large celebration in San Francisco, an intimate Palm Springs wedding became their perfect plan B. The couple chose luxury boutique Ace Hotel Palm Springs, a retro 70’s style with mid-century modern desert aesthetic just outside of Joshua Tree National Park. After the intimate and inviting ceremony, photographer Vivian Chen drove out to the desert plains with the couple, capturing them overlooking the mountains, exploring the rugged rock formations and stark landscape. The bride’s LOHO gown looked stunningly ethereal against the sparse Southern California scenery and twisted Joshua trees and cacti. We love the way this couple celebrated their love over fancy tacos and drinks with only their closest family and friends.

What a beautiful couple!! I love that they eloped, and invested in the important details of a wedding day! And boy did they really knock it out of the park with their ceremony location!! Those portraits they got in the dessert afterwards were seriously stunning and any Bride + Groom would be lucky to have these as keepsakes.
