We hired him after doing a photo shoot with him near his home in Oaxaca, and we asked if he would join us in central mexico for a few days to document our wedding. There are very few professionals who can take little direction and still produce exactly what the client is looking for, but Celia did just that. My wife and I hired Celia for our wedding photography and her colleague, Alejandro, for videography based on a recommendation from our wedding planner, Claudia. Although our venue, Hotel Xcaret Mexico provided us with a list of referrals, we knew we didn’t want traditional beach shots, so we leaned on Claudia to match us with someone who could bring our vision to life. We couldn’t have been more pleased with who she matched us with. After a brief Zoom call and very little direction from us (we were completely overwhelmed with wedding planning and didn’t even manage to scope out photoshoot locations in advance!), Celia took the reigns and magically captured exactly what we envisioned - a fashion inspired editorial photoshoot against some stunning backdrops she was familiar with. Throughout the day, Celia and her team made sure we were completely comfortable and were very receptive to our suggestions. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect photography experience and the final product was exactly what we were hoping for - it was almost as though Celia could read our minds!
