Our engagement pictures were romantic, fun, natural - and somehow he made us look like actual models. We kept going back to those photos throughout our entire wedding planning process. Every time we talked to another photographer, we’d look at our engagement gallery and say, “But how do we top this?” We even joked, “What are the odds Alex flies to Boston?” We were thrilled to find out he offers international packages - and that he was willing to come to Boston for our April wedding! We are so, so glad we went with him. Our pre-wedding meetings were beyond helpful. Alex has so much experience with weddings, and you can tell immediately. He educated us on things we would have never even thought about - timelines, lighting, moments to prioritize, what to look out for. His wedding guide was also a huge help and honestly guided some of our decision-making while planning. He takes his craft seriously. He did a thorough visit of our venue beforehand, walked us through everything, and strongly recommended getting a second shooter. Thank goodness we listened - that was one of the best decisions we made. But what really stands out about Alex is how he grounds you. The wedding day is busy. It moves fast. It’s emotional. It’s easy to get swept up in it all. I remember him telling us, “You only get this experience once in a lifetime - breathe it in and stay present.” That stuck with us. And he was right. We are so incredible grateful to have met Alex! I am from San Diego, California and contacted him in 2021 for our proposal during our trip to Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. From the beginning he made the process so easy and fun. He is great at communicating and is professional about guiding you and offering options. I loved that he connected me to Diamond Weddings Inside Out for a boho romantic picnic to enjoy after our proposal and photo shoot. As a queer couple, we felt he was affirming, professional and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera! Our pictures were phenomenal. His ability to capture emotions that tell a story is so unique. We were ecstatic at the opportunity to have him join for our wedding two years later!
