This A-Frame Cabin Elopement Inspiration is the Epitome of The PNW

May 5, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

If you love rainy wedding days, bohemian style, and cozy forest vibes, this cabin elopement inspiration from Henry Tieu Photography is all you’re going to want to look at today! Rather than set up a traditional ceremony backdrop, they used the a-frame design of cabin to frame the couple’s vow exchange. When it came time for a celebratory dinner, Rain and Pines created a beautiful sweetheart table with black and white place settings and candle, one gorgeous floral centerpiece made by Bond in Bloom, and a modern grey drip cake from Corina Bakery. We love the earthy, natural feel of this entire elopement inspiration, and especially love that the bride wore a non-traditional floral print and tassel Rue De Seine gown that enhanced the moody magic this talented team created.

This Carefree French Backyard Wedding is a Total Love Fest

May 5, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

Rachel and Willem’s French backyard wedding nailed the laid-back boho vibe with ease. Over the Moon Weddings and Te Leuk Trouwen helped the couple create the perfect backyard picnic feel, complete with pre-ceremony activities to get the party started and a cozy cocktail hour tent full of natural textures and pretty pink and white florals arranged by Judith Slagter. The guests all sported casual attire to match the wedding party’s theme of bowties, suspenders, and boho braids, and even the Rachel’s elegant lace gown from Wild at Heart Bridal was the perfect amount of sexy, sleek, and simple to fit with the overall feel of the day. From the pre-ceremony lawn games to the laid-back cocktail hour to the swing band jam session at the reception, this wedding was a total love fest, and Lott’s Photography and Agapè Stories captured it with such grace and beautiful creativity!

This Rooftop Styled Shoot Was Inspired by Vibrant Nigerian Details

May 4, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

The colors in this rooftop anniversary shoot from Megan Blowey Photography look almost too vibrant to be real! Megan and the team at Promise Event Planners chose real-life couple Tanisha and August for this Denver anniversary shoot that featured a modern sweetheart table and cozy picnic-style seating that would make anyone want to hang out on a roof all night long. Their focus was a modern design, vibrant colors, and meaningful attention to the Nigerian concept of “Omalicha,” or beauty, which they accomplished by featuring tons of textures, floral masterpieces created by Helios Floral, and colorful Oma Wraps that Tanisha wore with two different outfits. The sweetest detail of all came with the love letters Tanisha and August wrote to each other that Abby Co. Design transferred into calligraphy for the couple to read aloud as the bubblegum pinks and blues of the Colorado sunset transformed the sky.

From the photographer: Oma, shortened from “Omalicha,” means beauty in the Igbo language. Oma Wraps is a movement by Linda, the fashion designer, and her journey into what it truly means to find beauty in oneself. We wanted to bring this same curiosity into this shoot by incorporating an African staple (the head wraps) into the forefront of modern culture. I then worked with the event planner to create details around this theme. Keelia brought our shoot to life with unexpected floral design and texture! The rooftop had a romantic, yet simple dinner vibe bringing culture and diversity to the modern cityscape of Denver.
