You’re Going to Want to Recreate Every Inch of This DIY Family Farm Wedding in Pennsylvania

July 15, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

The handmade details, the vintage-meets-bohemian vibe, and the cozy ceremony location of Keziah and Kaleb’s family farm wedding are giving us all the warm fuzzies! With the help of family and friends, this couple was able to make every detail of their wedding personal and unique. But, we must give a shoutout to the groom who went above and beyond in not only making the wooden ceremony arbor and all the tables for the reception but in excavating and building up the ceremony spot! The couple used antique furniture, vintage family place settings and table decor, and tons of eucalyptus to create a laid-back affair had an air of elegance and romance. Lucky for us, trinjensen photography was on hand to capture every magical moment of this handmade, at-home wedding!

The Couple:

Keziah and Kaleb

The Wedding:

Private Farm, Bainbridge, Pennsylvania

We got married in an old sand quarry on my parents’ property with a long path that led back to it. We loved walking on that path through the woods together as a newly married couple and being greeted by our bridal party and guests.

Fall is such a beautiful time of year. We could not choose just one of the fall colors, so we chose all of them. As well as florals and lots of eucalypti to match the boho vibe.

We did a lot of DIY for our wedding, which made it more personable and really made us appreciate the help from friends and family. It truly was God’s blessing that we were able to pull off all of the DIY projects. Kaleb rented a mini excavator and built a rock wall with steps in the quarry for the ceremony. He planted grass and built steps that came down in from the top of the quarry. He also made the arbor by cutting branches and tying them together to make a tiny house.

This Oregon Forest Wedding Shoot Will Inspire You to Give Your Boho Style a Twist of Modern Luxury

This Oregon forest wedding inspiration was all about the togetherness and warmth of a family coming together to celebrate the best day of a couple’s life. Kindred Spirits Planning & Design created a home-away-from-home setup with a modern-boho lounge area, a large table filled to the brim with charcuterie and wine, and a retro caravan bar provided by Blue Stag Mobile Bar. The artists of Poppies & Paisley Floral then added lush greenery to the reception table, created a texturally stunning, elongated bridal bouquet full of luxurious blooms, and set up a wildly romantic circular ceremony arch deep in the woods. The thread that held this entire shoot together was the natural feel of every detail, from the color palette to the bride’s Jane Hill gown and natural cut stone accessories from The Vital Element. The talented Baylee Dennis Photography truly captured the natural vibe of this modern, bohemian Oregon forest wedding inspiration.

This Bride’s Long-Sleeved Ines di Santo Dress Inspired the Design for the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Wedding

July 14, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

Ashley and Samuel combined boho-chic style with black tie elegance in their Hilton Lake Las Vegas wedding. Although it might sound unconventional, the bride’s long-sleeved lace Ines di Santo gown was the perfect inspiration for this wedding, dictating everything from the autumn date to the formal attire and the soft, romantic feel of the decor. When combined with her long, lace-trimmed veil and sparkly Jimmy Choo heels, she had the air of old Hollywood glam that was perfect for the glitz and glamour of Vegas without losing the soft, bohemian feel. I Do Details Weddings & Events highlighted the Mediterranean-inspired resort by bringing in neutral linens, ivory and blush rose centerpieces designed by Layers of Lovely, and gold accents that twinkled under the cafe lights and crystal chandeliers that were strung throughout the Italian gardens. The Light & The Love had so many moments of pure romance and impeccable design to capture, and they nailed it!

The Couple:

Ashley and Samuel

The Wedding:

Hilton Lake Las Vegas, Nevada

I planned our entire wedding around wanting to wear a long sleeved lace dress. This meant a fall wedding, and probably not in Hawaii. I fell in love with an Ines di Santo dress the second I put it on. The material was so light I could move around so easily. The lace was so soft and romantic and beautiful. Since the dress didn’t have a sparkle, I chose Jimmy Choo heels with an all-over champagne sparkle.

We wanted our vibe to be mostly elegant and a little boho chic. It was a November wedding, so we went black tie optional for long dresses and dark suits. The florals were soft and romantic with pops of pampas grass.

Our advice: have a first look! It calmed all the nerves that we had before the ceremony. Also, hire a wedding planner! They are knowledgeable about the industry and will help steer you in the right direction for your wedding vision.
