This Blush Portland Wedding Inspiration at The Cleaners at The Ace Came Right Out of a Modern Fairy Tale

September 27, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

A blush wedding gown from Claire la Faye, flower arrangments and ivy designed by Goodseed Floral hanging from the ceiling and crawling up the walls, and a rustic-meets-boho tablescape — could there be anything more romantic? Mae & Co. Creative killed it with this Portland styled shoot at The Cleaners at The Ace! The fairytale vibes combined with the modern look of the venue and the rustic/boho details were not only lovely but totally unique. We love a fresh take on classic, romantic wedding style, and this styled shoot was that and more. No detail was left unattended but the entire shoot had an effortless, natural feel that only Olivia Strohm Photography could have captured. If you’re looking for a way to have both a modern and fairytale-inspired wedding day, look no further than this Portland shoot!

This Family-Focused Florida Backyard Wedding Left No Detail Untouched

September 27, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

Cristina and Lucas’ Florida backyard wedding was the perfect combination of classic elegance and laid-back coziness, with a hint of bohemian vibes. Their waterfront ceremony was planned and performed by the bride’s sister and featured not only a gorgeous view but a romantic, asymmetrical, flower-adorned arch and aisle markers created by Julia Rohde Designs. The romantic floral arrangments were also integrated into the reception decor, which included modern rose gold chairs and table decor, a translucent tent, and a gorgeous tiered cake created by Pattibakes. Because this wedding took place at the couple’s home, they also added yard games, kids crafts, a family-style dinner, and air plant favors to add a charming touch of at-home hospitality. Becca Borge Photography captured every inch of this special day in beautiful detail!

The Couple:

Cristina and Lucas

The Wedding:

Private Residence, Miami, Florida

We have been together 15 years and lived in our house for 11 years. All of our girls’ birthdays, every holiday, and every special occasion has been at our house, so there was no other place we would want our wedding to be.

I let my sister Lily plan the whole ceremony. She was the one who married us and knows us pretty well. I wanted to be surprised, so she planned the whole thing and really exceeded all expectations and surprised us.

Just have fun, don’t get caught up in the little things, and only invite the people closest to you. Soak up the day because it goes by quickly and remember that it’s about you and the one you love — no one else.

Honestly, everything was great but we really had fun doing our first dance. We took dance lessons and practiced every night. We laughed a lot and enjoyed learning something new together.
