Colorfully Retro Vegas Desert Elopement Inspiration

October 31, 2020 | riley

We love when talented pros come together to create magical wedding inspiration! This colorfully retro Vegas desert elopement shoot inspires groovy feelings in the best ways possible. Beautifully planned by The Counterfeit Wedding, jaws will drop over the brilliantly bold florals from Averi K Designs, the funky invite suite from Beauty Bright Design, and the intricate macrame by Ox & Nag

Boho bridal fashion has never looked this effortless. The bride’s lace Chic Boho Dress gown—complete with over-the-top bell sleeves—serves as a reminder that boho looks chic in the heat. And although it’s an unconventional color, the groom paired perfectly with the desert landscape thanks to his coffee-colored suit from Friar Tux.

If you’ve been searching for some retro inspo, look no further. These photos captured by Jekalo Photography will surely have you feeling totally righteous!

Old Hollywood Glam Inspired Portland Backyard Wedding

October 30, 2020 | Junebug Weddings

When it comes to Old Hollywood, who wouldn’t want to travel back to that era? Sanda and Cooper’s wedding did just that—in their very own backyard! They included many vintage details while adding touches of modern flair. With the help of their wedding planner Bridal Bliss, they took their black and white on-screen vision and made it yellow, orange, red, and blue.

We can’t get over the giant crescent moon peeking through their photos while the bride stole the show in her flapper-style dress. Cooper also surprised Sanda by singing at their reception—we didn’t see it in person but the glamour of this surprise serenade gives chills in the best way.  While we could go on about this glam wedding, we’ll let Junebug Member Dylan Howell’s photos do the talking.

Sanda and Cooper

An Old Hollywood Glam Portland Backyard Wedding

We were married where we live. It felt special to share it with our closest friends and family.

Two Unforgettable Moments

My most memorable part was getting ready with my ladies and walking down the aisle. Cooper’s was when I surprised him with a song.

Swiss Alps Wedding Inspiration from The Big Fake Wedding

October 29, 2020 | riley

Jacie Marguerite Photography

The Big Fake Wedding has delivered again. It seems only fitting when hosting in Denver—an area of the United States known for its mountain ranges—the event would be Swiss Alps wedding inspiration.

Creating a look referred to as “only accessible by ski lift,” this big fake couple brought together loved ones for a destination elopement. While the event took place in mountains covered with snow, their wedding had warm and cozy written all over it. We love the use of natural surroundings as decor and enhancing the beauty using strictly natural tones and textures.

The photos, expertly captured by Haley Hawn Photography, Heather Jackson Photography, and Jacie Marguerite Photography, gave us the impression we were attending the romantic mountain resort wedding of our dreams.

Want to get in touch with the incredible vendor team that made this all happen? Check them out at the bottom of the post to learn more.
