Monica and Manuele had a classic Italian wedding with industrial architecture and chic attire. The bride wore an sophisticated, intricately designed gown by Yolan Cris. After their church ceremony, the two enjoyed a reception dinner with friends and family at Filanda Motta in Mogliano Veneto, Italy. The tall windows, white linen, and simple floral touches created a elegant feel to the beautiful day. Talented photographer Barbara Zanon beautifully captured this gorgeous wedding.
High school sweethearts Wesley and Trang wished for a bohemian styled wedding in a rustic space. The bride wore an untraditional, custom made, blush gown that matched her bridesmaids apparel. They also fashioned floral headpieces, which added to the natural design of the wedding in Georgia. The wooden décor, gold touches, and natural surroundings of The Farm created the perfect whimsical atmosphere for the romanic day. Krista Turner Photography captured the sweetest moments of the couple on their big day!
I envisioned a rustic and romantic atmosphere with a dash of bohemian style for our wedding. The first thing I bought were my bridesmaids dresses. I loved the color and the rosettes! When I went shopping for my dress I had not previously considered not wearing white, but realized I loved the idea of wearing blush with my bridesmaids. I love flower crowns so I found FoxandFernFlowers on Etsy to perfectly pair with our dresses. The venue itself is gorgeous with all of the different shades of wood and detailing so I knew it would be easy to add feminine touches to the rustic space. I decided greens, golds, and pink would be great accents to pull from the green space surrounding the venue and pink from our dresses. I knew that I had to have king protea flowers incorporated and even had one in my bouquet! They were gorgeous!
The Moments:
We opted to have a piñata for the bridesmaids and groomsman rather than the traditional bouquet toss and garter toss. Our friends had such a great time hitting the piñatas that we had filled with candy, glow sticks, and quirky toys. I know our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed this part of the reception. So many laughs!
The Couple Recommends:
We had awesome wedding vendors, but the three that went above and beyond were Krista Turner (photographer), Tony Pombo (Iris Films), and Keith Hand (Bridge Catering). Krista is one of the kindest souls you could hope to meet and the fact that she does wonders with her camera make her even more amazing. We met her for the first time with our engagement session about two months before and were instantly impressed by her sweet demeanor and professionalism. She is a great listener and works to accommodate your personal vision while giving great guidance and direction. We met with Tony about one month before the wedding and within seconds we knew this guy was awesome. He is so much fun to be around as his energy is infectious! He is someone you want to grab a beer with! His portfolio speaks for itself and you can see he thoroughly enjoys what he does. He has an eye for making heart-felt videos that are fun to watch! Once we met Keith and saw all of the amazing food we knew we were in a for a treat. We sat down together, the three of us, and sampled all of the food we had previously requested for the menu. Keith drove to our venue site (1.5 hours away from his office) to meet me at my walk through a few weekends before the wedding. He is so incredibly talented and his commitment to provide excellent customer service makes him a great vendor. All of our guests raved about the food! These three vendors were always great in replying to texts or emails very quickly.
Magnificent rocky terrain, deserted desert views, and an excited, newly engaged couple produced the coolest photos! Dustin and Ashley’s engagement session near Red Deer River in Drumheller, Alberta was romantic, playful, and all about them. Katch Studios photographed incredible moments of the couple wandering around the intricate location.
