Astrid and David’s bright wedding was filled with colorful and sentimental touches. After their classic church ceremony, the couple and guests headed to Bohus Malmön Folkets hus in Västra Götalands Län, Sweden for a sunny, gorgeous reception. Incorporating their loved ones into their special day, the couple handed out customized program booklets where they shared a few anecdotes about every guest. Photographer Matilda Söderström perfectly captured every special detail at this Swedish wedding.

From the bride: We chose to have daisies in the wedding bouquet because for us daisies symbolize a natural, wild and a simple sense. We also put small daisies in all the vases on the table so it almost looked like a summer meadow. The venue was a typical 20th century park with a big dance floor outside and small tombolas in a lush atmosphere. We felt that the place covered all our wishes of making it into our own. Almost everything was made by us and our family.

Advice from the couple: Listen to your gut feeling, and don’t loose your fundamental thoughts or feelings by spending hours and hours scrolling and mapping inspiration photos on Pinterest, etc. Dare to do exactly like you want to do, it’s your day and you could do what ever you want! Can it be better?! Take the chance to do your day as you always dreamed of doing it.

Offbeat Brooklyn Bridge Park Wedding

Offbeat-Brooklyn-Bridge-Park-Wedding (27 of 37)

Planning their entire wedding from another country could have been a stressful move, but Kirill and Julia claim they “trusted their intuition while choosing the vendors.” Selecting Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn, New York for their unique wedding, the couple gazed off into NYC’s skyline at sunset as they tied the knot. We love how the bride incorporated a fresh look into her wedding dress by adding a hint of turquoise. Talented photographer Adriano Ranieri perfectly captured the special moments at this one-of-a-kind wedding!

From the bride: A bridesmaid and I sewed my wedding dress, the bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen bow ties. It was a very enjoyable and a useful experience because both of us are currently fashion design students. On the night before the wedding we decided to die the skirt of my dress, and I ended up having a turquoise colored hands on the wedding day, because I’d forgotten to wear gloves while dipping the dress into the paint. Luckily you can’t see it on photos.

Irish-Wedding-by-the-Sea-Inspiration-Paula-McManus (12 of 24)

This Irish wedding inspiration shoot by Paula McManus Photography and a team of Ireland’s talented professionals is full of captivating and romantic design. Pale blue, gold, and beige details brilliantly reflected the colors of the natural landscape for a dreamy and authentic look. The two brides wore positively stunning gowns, one reminiscent of a mermaid and the other a graceful and delicate lace gown that moves effortlessly in the cool waterfront breeze. If you’re planning seaside nuptials, allow this coastal inspiration shoot to be your guide.
