Blair and James’ bohemian take on a nautical Cape Cod wedding was perfectly them: relaxed, full of color, and with plenty of waterfront views. On a private beach in Dennis, Massachusetts, the couple said “I do” in an intimate ceremony by the sea. Xu Liu Photography beautifully documented the day, and we especially love Blair and James’ newlywed portraits on the dock as they enjoyed a little alone time before heading into their reception.

My inspiration was Nautical Bohemian. We wanted to have a relaxing yet fun atmosphere, that was Cape Cod-inspired and elegant. It turned out way better than we both had imagined. We were lucky enough to have so much help from family and friends and it really turned out amazing!
Spending time with family was, of course, the best part. It is very rare to have everyone you love in one place at one time.
