Elysia and Paul’s wedding at The Riverstone Estate was pretty in pink with a subtle boho chic vibe that was perfect for a summer garden wedding! The couple exchanged vows in a natural, intimate ceremony that featured a large wreath backdrop adorned with white and pink roses, then danced the night away under the stars. The bride’s custom Kara Jade Designs pink lace gown was the obvious star of the style show, but her bridesmaids’ boohoo lace top and satin pink skirt ensembles were a very close second. Photographer MadelineDruce captured every detail of the wedding beautifully, including the bridal party’s sweet encounter with a cuddly Australian native!
My bridal style inspiration was boho chic. I loved working with my designer, Kara Jade. When we met and I told her my ideas for a lacy pink dress, she drew it up perfectly. It was like she could read my mind! My friend Keiryn made some silky wrap skirts for my girls and I couldn’t have been happier with them. Our whole bridal party looked so good together!
Our ceremony was so special. We had our friend Carly marry us, and that made it so much more personal. She organized our parents to read a poem and a friend wrote a special piece just for us, which made me cry. Everyone was so present and it’s fair to say there were a few tears of joy.
Our photographer, Madeline Druce, was so cool and calm on the day and managed to capture amazing moments that we didn’t notice. My favourite photo is of my Nanny throwing the petals that she had organized from her own garden. This just is her in a picture! I highly recommend our talented photographer!

For those of you wondering how to plan a laid-back New Orleans elopement, Elizabeth and Rick’s no-fuss wedding at the French Quarter Wedding Chapel will show you how it’s done! This stylish couple and their two best friends booked hotel rooms in the heart of the city so they could explore, absorb the “big easy” vibe, oh, and so Elizabeth and Rick could get married! Their perfect location allowed them to walk to the chapel, which resulted in some fun street photos by The Harp Creatives that captured the couple’s quirky personalities and unique vintage style. We absolutely adore how the bride accessorized her dotted chiffon halter gown with a bold flower crown, starburst earrings, and a fab purple fur jacket!
I’m a huge fan of unique, odd, and a little vintage. We wanted something that really showed off our fun personalities.
Our main focus was to eliminate stress with an easy and beautiful elopement on a budget. We booked rooms in the French Quarter. Because of our beautiful and prime location, we were able to walk to our wedding venue. As we walked to our venue, we stopped at multiple beautiful places in the French Quarter to take photos. It was a great insight to the beautiful city!
Our best advice is to not lose sight of the significance and purpose of the day. We chose to eliminate stress and, in doing so, we had a wonderful and easy-going 4-day vacation where we happened to get married with our best friends.
