Elegant Dusty Blue Farm Wedding at Terra Madre Gardens

June 17, 2017 | Junebug Weddings

Jeanne and Cody’s elegant wedding at Terra Madre Gardens was full of DIY details and heartfelt moments. Inspired by the magical ambience of the San Diego garden venue, the couple chose a simple, rustic vibe and a pretty palette of blues, grays, and greens for their decor. They used a simple wooden arch backdrop and wine barrel tables to set the stage for an intimate vow exchange. Then they had a picnic style reception under a canopy of twinkle lights that featured both an impressive donut stand and a cozy fire pit for s’mores. The bride looked absolutely lovely in a lace BHLDN gown and half-up hairdo accented with baby’s breath. Corinne Alexandra Photo did a beautiful job capturing every moment of this wedding, especially the couple’s sweet sunset portraits through the garden!

The Couple:

Jeanne and Cody

The Wedding:

Terra Madre Gardens, San Diego, California

I wanted everything to be magical and whimsical. I felt like a fairy in my BHLDN dress, and it was exactly what I had always dreamed of! My favorite part of the dress was the back with the lace and the buttons. Our bridesmaids wore long gray tulle dresses. We had two different styles in the same color and material to ensure everyone was comfortable and felt confident and beautiful. It was my goal to have everyone feeling as beautiful I as did!

Bride Processional – “Thousand Years” by Christina Perri
Recessional – “Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding

Almost everything at our wedding we made or had made. We created the invitations using an online template then printed and assembled them together. We saved wine bottles for months and spray painted them. One of our bridesmaids made every chalkboard sign we had at our wedding from parking to reserved seating to bar signs. Another one of our bridesmaids made our photo booth with tulle and paper cones, which was so simple and beautiful. Even our donut wall was handmade by one of our good friends!

We gave out some coffee as wedding favors. Cody owns his own coffee roasting company and we thought it would be a great opportunity to make our wedding more personal.

Natural Industrial Downtown Nashville Wedding at The Cordelle

June 17, 2017 | Junebug Weddings

If minimalist design and natural greenery speak to your soul, you’re going to love Whitney and Avery’s Nashville wedding at The Cordelle! The couple was drawn to the venue’s impressive history and industrial vibe, so they chose to keep the decor simple and clean, allowing the intimacy of the venue to shine through. To infuse some natural energy into the space, they had the florists at Elder Floral Design create greenery-forward centerpieces, as well as hang greenery on the walls for a pop of color and texture. Because there were minimal florals used in the decor, the bridal bouquet was truly stood out and looked stunning alongside Whitney’s timeless Rue De Seine gown — and perfectly complemented the groom’s floral print tie! Madi Flournoy Photography captured every subtle detail and passionate moment of this Nashville wedding beautifully!

The Couple:

Whitney and Avery

The Wedding:

The Cordelle, Nashville, Tennessee

We wanted our wedding day to be as much about our guests as it was about us. We planned for the ceremony to be an intimate moment shared between ourselves and them. We had a very close family friend perform our ceremony, and instead of exchanging traditional “I dos” we exchanged “we dos.” The reception was a party for our friends and family to celebrate this new chapter in our lives, with good food, great drinks, and a lot of questionable dance moves!

The days/hours leading up to the wedding were stressful at times, but the moment we got to see one another for the first time, nothing else seemed to matter anymore. We took that private time before the ceremony to exchange vows that we had written, and enjoy one another’s company knowing that our lives together were just beginning.

We both have lived in Nashville for quite some time but we were not sure Tennessee was where we wanted to get married. We started looking around and stumbled upon The Cordelle. The venue itself was beautiful, and conveniently located in downtown Nashville. After discovering a little more about the building, and how it was built in the late 1800’s and restored after nearly being destroyed by a fire, we were sold. It was special for us to be married in the city we met, and at a venue that is part of Nashville’s history.

Our photographer, Madi Flournoy Photography, was an absolute dream to work with. She had just a calming presence; we couldn’t help but feel at ease around her. She made sure to capture moments that we will now forever cherish as memories.

Peach and Blush Thailand Wedding at X2 Kui Buri Resort

June 16, 2017 | Junebug Weddings

When it comes to relaxed elegance and dreamy garden wedding vibes, Pim and Name’s wedding at X2 Kui Buri Resort was the perfect mix of both! The couple chose a natural seaside location and, with the help of the event planners at The Wedding Bliss Thailand, they created a beautiful garden ceremony that featured a stunning and vibrant floral garland created by PHKA Studio. For the seaside reception, the same bright florals were the centerpiece of the otherwise clean, minimalist design. We love how they balanced out all the bright colors with soft pink, cream, and dusty blue accents. Darinimages did a wonderful job capturing every detail of this beautiful Thailand wedding!
