April and Justin's gorgeous, sunny, summery wedding features some of my favorites...lace, horses, garden roses, a big white tent, and a woodland ceremony. That's all you need to hear, right? But beyond all the pretty, be sure to catch the couple's story about finding the right venue and making hard decisions. It has a great lesson in it for anyone planning a wedding! In the end, they did celebrate in a perfect, meaningful location, which Jessica Hill captured in her romantic photos. Enjoy!

Garden Wedding at Bella Luna Farms, From Michèle M. Waite Photography and Chambers and Co. – Morgan and Matt
Morgan and Matt celebrated last summer at one of our favorite places here in Washington, Bella Luna Farms. Complete with organic gardens, a glass-roofed grapehouse, and stone buildings surrounded by the sweetest farm animals, the working farm manages something that most such places do not - it is stunningly beautiful! Michèle M. Waite's pretty images captured the gorgeous setting and the perfectly executed wedding that Chambers and Company created with the happy couple!
Sunset-Inspired Cave B Estate Winery Wedding – Lyndsey and Bobby
Lyndsey and Bobby planned a beautiful semi-destination wedding weekend at Washington's Cave B Estate Winery. I can't get enough of these stunning images that Junebug member Belathée Photography snapped, and which perfectly capture the natural environment, glowing sunset, and once again...that view!
Wedding Planning 101 – Planning a Rehearsal Dinner
Besides the all-important wedding day, there are a few other events surrounding your wedding that will need planning. One such event, the rehearsal dinner, is usually held the night before the wedding. Today, I have a few planning tips and ideas to get you started, illustrated with Michèle M. Waite's beautiful images of Kate and Tony's celebratory dinner at The Corson Building.
Colorful, Modern Seattle Wedding at Within SODO – Julie and Rob
I'm completely mad for Julie and Rob's dynamic, fun color palette of...every color in the rainbow! Along with talented planner Michelle Engvall of Married & More With Michelle, they designed a day that combined a traditional church ceremony with a modern, sleek reception at the very urban Within SODO event space. They included a lot of white in their palette so that their wild range of colors would pop, and the end result was gorgeous photos by Benj Haisch!
Glamorous Alexis Hotel Seattle Wedding – Kristen and Jason
Kristen and Jason's wedding day look was a gorgeous blend of Old Hollywood glamor, an elegant venue, and a romantic color palette, but it was the sweet, meaningful moments that really stood out for the couple. They wisely built in time on their wedding day to spend with just each other, and even revisited some spots that had been home to some big events in their relationship. We think another one of their best decisions was hiring the talented (and fun!) Barbie Hull to photograph their day, because her gorgeous images perfectly captured the day's spirit.
Romantic Northwest Backyard Wedding by One Love Photo – Jennifer and Brandon
Jennifer and Brandon's backyard wedding was just as romantic, soft, and pretty as can be! From Jennifer's Luly Yang dress that appeared to be a vintage treasure, to the lush gardens of her parents home, the sweet peas and peonies in antique silver vases, and the bridal party photos in the raspberry patch, the whole day was dreamy!
Rustic Washington Wedding in Port Townsend – Janae and Will
Today's rustic wedding of Janae and WIll does a great job in showcasing what is so beautiful about the Pacific Northwest. The lush green surroundings and easy natural beauty of Fort Warden State Park, on the water in Port Townsend, was perfectly paired with Janae and Will's organic, and slightly vintage wedding look.
