Combining their Colombian and Sicilian cultures into a waterfront wedding at Casa Kapikua, Maria José and Alessandro created an exceptionally beautiful celebration of love that also encapsulated the local flair of Santa Marta, Colombia. Photographer Lorenzo Accardi captured every moment of this wedding in stunning detail, from the getting ready excitement to the heartfelt speeches during the ceremony to the jaw-dropping dance moves their guests and folkloric performers busted out on the dance floor! Their wedding was full of local touches, including Colombian cigars, exotic fruits, handmade fans, and hair wraps for the women, that was both a celebration of the culture and a way to officially join two families into one. This beach wedding was truly a tropical, bohemian, and retro dream come true, and we can’t stop staring!
