What could be a more “green” wedding favor than giving away real live trees? What a great idea! Our upcoming Real Wedding couple Erin and Tristan (check back on Friday for all new Real Weddings!) chose to give their guests tiny tree seedlings from Evergreen Memories at their beautiful farm wedding last September. I love the simplicity of the burlap wrap and mini pine cone, not to mention the environmentally friendly intention behind it all.
I contacted this company and am totally impressed. First, what a cute and unique idea (not the flower seeds, but the tree seedlings). For a very reasonable price, they print your name on the wedding favor, put a pretty (color of your choice) ribbon at the top with a decorative small flower in the middle of the bow. They also print the bride and groom’s names and date of the wedding at the bottom. They are so flexible…do not have a minimum order, you can mix and match between flower seeds and tree seedlings and give you a description of what type of tree (and how big it gets) on their fantastic website.
We’re having a theme of garden’/nature and I’m so happy that I found this company on this website! Thanks!

Squee! I wish I had known about these when planning my own wedding. It wouldn’t have gone at all well with the rest of my wedding gear, but that doesn’t much matter.
