Support Local Businesses with Seattle City Stimulus

December 3, 2008 | editorial team

Hey Seattle readers, ready to get your holiday shopping on? This year more than ever it’s important to support local businesses with our shopping dollars, and the newly launched Seattle City Stimulus program makes doing so easy and fun! Launched by the lovely (and smart) friend of Junebug, Shannon Kelly, City Stimulus is “a grass-roots marketing campaign to urge buyers to shop local and to shop small. To “forego the super-mega-big-box for the local and the curated, the innovative and the hand made.” Sounds good to me! Just visit www.citystimulus.com, or their profile on Facebook, print out your free membership card and see all the deals you’re eligible for in the coming week.

Here are just a few of the offerings we’re excited about…

12/4/08- Happy Hour All Night at The Saint, Havana, 611 Supreme and Moe Bar

12/5/08– 15% off at Boat Street Cafe, 25% off take out at Via Tribunali, 25% added to any gift certificate purchase at Cremant

12/6/08 and 12/7/08– 25% off at Tulip and A Mano, free 8oz. coffee at the Capitol Hill Cafe Vita, 10% off and gift with purchase at Fancy, and 20% off at Velocity Art and Design

Happy shopping everyone, and don’t forget your City Stimulus membership card! We’ll see you out there!
