This Texas Hill Country Wedding Has All the Moody Romantic Inspiration You’ve Been Looking For

April 25, 2019 | Junebug Weddings

Stephanie and Mark’s Texas Hill Country wedding was the perfect combination of rustic and glamorous! The California couple tied the knot in one of their favorite places, the bride’s parents’ backyard, and Tracy Collins Events made their reception tent feel like the most romantic place on Earth! Flora Fetish created stunning floral installations, centerpieces, and bouquets in moody colors for a sophisticated, wintry feel, and E+B creative created mixed metallic signage to add a touch of modern to the overall look. Every detail of this Texas wedding was exceptionally crafted, and Nikk Nguyen Photo captured it all beautifully!

The Couple:

Stephanie and Mark

The Wedding:

Private Residence, Driftwood, Texas

Our ceremony was definitely the most memorable part of the day! It was in Stephanie‘s parents’ backyard, a place we both love to be. We chose acoustic Pearl Jam and Guns ‘n’ Roses for the music, some of our favorites. Because family means so much to us, we asked Mark‘s sister to sing, had Mark‘s cousin officiate, and surprised our parents with individual tributes that detailed the impact they’ve had upon our lives. Everything was just perfect to us — even the unplanned car alarm and barking dog that went on for 5 minutes!

Processional – “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys, “Yellow Ledbetter” by Pearl Jam, and “November Rain” by Guns ‘n’ Roses
Recessional – “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns ‘n’ Roses
First Dance – “Satisfied” by Ian Moore
Mother/Son Dance – “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong
Father/Daughter Dance – “In My Life” by The Beatles

Intimate Wildflower Inspired Rattlesnake Lake Elopement

April 24, 2019 | Junebug Weddings

Inspired by the whimsical and free-spirited nature of wildflowers, Madi and Josiah’s Rattlesnake Lake elopement was as lovely as could be! The couple gathered their nearest and dearest for a waterfront ceremony filled with love, music, and beautiful views. Then the couple wandered away with Alex Lasota Photography for a newlywed portrait session on the cliffs, along the water’s edge, and into the forest that made our hearts burst with joy! In keeping with the simple and lighthearted vibe of this elopement, My Garden Overfloweth created the prettiest wildflower bouquet for the bride and matching boutonniere for the groom, both of which added the pop of color that was needed against the mostly neutral, natural landscape.

The Couple:

Madi and Josiah

The Wedding:

Rattlesnake Lake, North Bend, Washington

The Wedding Team:

Photography – Alex Lasota Photography
Venue – Rattlesnake Lake
Floral Design – My Garden Overfloweth
Stationery – Minted
Hair Styling – Regis Salons

Groom’s Apparel – TOPMAN

Congratulations to Madi and Josiah, and a big thanks to Alex Lasota Photography for sharing this lovely Rattlesnake Lake elopement with Junebug! Want to see more incredible elopement inspiration?
