This Cuffey’s Cove Ranch Wedding Combines Rusty Hues and Golden California Light

How sweet love is! We’re absolutely captivated by Eszter and Gabe’s dreamy wedding day and celebration of love at Cuffey’s Cove Ranch! The two wanted their big day to be filled with fun at one of their favorite places — the northern California coast. Eszter looked stunning in the most whimsical Willow by Watters gown that magically caught every golden ray of sunshine during their couple’s portraits with the talented Wander Love Captures. Pinterest, wedding blogs, and Instagram are incredible resources for gathering inspiration, but don’t get too lost in the trends! Stay in touch with what best represents you as a couple!

Cuffey’s Cove Ranch is remote and very exposed to the elements. The California Coast will forever be one of our favorite places, so when we saw the photos we instantly knew it was the place for us. In hindsight it was a bit of a risk, but one we are so happy we took.

Love is sweet. That’s what the 100 jars of honey we gave out were labelled. Lucky for us Gabe’s dad is a beekeeper, so it came straight from his backyard and into the hands of our guests.

In true Bay Area fashion, our catering was done via taco truck. Platanito Pupusas not only makes the best tacos and pupusas, but was able to vegan-ify the entire menu for us! (and it got two thumbs up from my carnivorous Hungarian family).

Preparing for our first dance was a way to enjoy the planning process. It gave us a chance to step away from the more tedious tasks, and be goofy together while still being “productive”. When it came to the real deal, it immediately brought us back to those living room rehearsals, transforming the venue into our own private space. Somehow, with all of our best friends and family surrounding us, we were still alone. Sometimes we still dance to the song, only now it brings us back to that moment at our wedding.

This Couple Spiced Up Their Intimate Farm Wedding at Woodinville Lavender with Killer Signage

Katy and Patrick’s vision for their wedding at Woodinville Lavender was to create an experience centered around family, friends, and timeless memories — and we think it’s all absolutely wonderful! The invitation suite and signage by Libby Tipton (who also planned the event) was beyond creative and so original. Did you notice their adorable pup was even included in the design?! We also are all heart eyes over every sweet, emotional moment Malorie Kerouac Photography captured during the ceremony and portraits surrounded by the most beautiful lavender garden. Wedding planning advice from the bride: My best friend and Maid of Honor, who is also a graphic designer, helped every step of the way. That was invaluable and made planning less stressful, and more exciting. If you have it in your budget to get help or have an amazing friend like I do, do that. Make sure you get as much help as you can every step of the way so you’re stressing out less, and enjoying yourself more.

We chose to get married at Woodinville Lavender because it is gorgeous and it had a limited capacity for guests, which we hoped would make for a more intimate wedding day (and it definitely did).

Katy‘s aunt, who she is incredibly close with, officiated our wedding. We wanted our officiate to be someone we would have in our lives forever. It was so special that she was able to marry us. We personalized our ceremony in a lot of ways. We wrote our own vows and read them to one another. Our officiate wrote an entirely unique ceremony “script” based on our lives, our relationship, our families, and our shared memories. Everything was so special and unique, which we hoped would reflect more of who we are to our guests.

We did not necessarily chose a vibe in the traditional sense. We knew that we didn’t want anything too traditional in our day. We are both low-maintenance, laid-back people and wanted our wedding day to embody that. We took less photos so that we could spend more times with our guests during our cocktail hour. We had our dog roam around the venue and dance with guests. We didn’t want our wedding day to feel too curated, too perfect, too stiff.

We choose the theme of Autumn by combining a bohemian tropical accent that presents dried flower elements with warm colours and there is also a touch of the colours of tropical flowers that make the atmosphere warmer, beautiful and romantic. Bohemian and tropical accents can be found on wedding is a handmade rattan bohemian chairs, long VIP tables with tropical touches, ethnic Scandinavian style tugs and also on rattan strings lamps that hang beautifully on the photo corner and also the entrance to the event with a Santorini style concept combining colors white gate combined with re flowers.

Abil (the groom) gave a surprise in the form dance with the groomsman so that made Ocy (the bride) along with guests surprised and very entertained.
