Perth Wedding at Mt Eliza House

June 7, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

www.samuelgoh.com

After a simply elegant ceremony at Linton & Kay Art Gallery, Linzy and Matt turned their reception at Mt Eliza House into a dance party! The couple left messages for their guests including, “You can find your seat here, but your place is on the dance floor,” which added such a fun vibe to the celebration. White linen table cloths, colorful unique florals, and chalkboard signs came together to create the beautiful detail at the outdoor reception. The couple even included a cheese wheel cake, yum! And, best of all, Samuel Goh Photography expertly captured this wonderful wedding!

The Couple:

Linzy and Matt

The Wedding:

Mt Eliza House, Perth, Australia

The Inspiration:

We had a lot of people travelling to Perth from very far away with people who had not seen each other in 10 years so we just wanted one big party. We wanted minimum formalities so everyone could mingle and also this allowed for more time on the dance floor. We wanted everyone on that dance floor.

The Moments:

At the end of the night the band asked everyone to form a circle to say goodbye to the bride and groom so everyone stood around the dance floor in one giant circle and it ended up turning into a dance off and we had to wait about 20 minutes to get in the circle to actually say goodbye.

The Couple Recommends:

Jess Butcher from Butcher Baker Stylist Creator is AMAZING!!!! The most talented creative down to earth person we have ever met. She is full of ideas and there is no such thing as ‘can’t’ or ‘problem’. So easy going and would now consider her a good friend. The wedding would not have come together without her!

Rustic Bohemian Wedding at Le Mas St. Martin

June 7, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Rustic-Bohemian-Wedding-at-Le-Mas-St.-Martin (25 of 32)

Béatrice and Frédéric envisioned a stress-free wedding day surrounded by friends and family. Their rustic outdoor wedding at Le Mas St. Martin in Provence, France was filled with light pink and white florals, bales of hay covered in linen for seating, and tons of games! Making the day even more special, the bride’s brother was the officiant. And, to top it all off, Lmvisual captured beautiful moments of the new husband and wife!

The Couple:

Béatrice and Frédéric

The Wedding:

Le Mas St. Martin, Provence, France

The Inspiration:

The theme of our wedding was very relaxed, with a little bit of barn and vintage inspiration. We had oat hay covered with white linen as the seats for our guests during the ceremony. The floor was covered with vibrant carpets. We also had gorgeous flowers and had the initials of our names made of flowers. Given that we have our organizer (who did really great!) everyone still tried to help her on the decorations and set up. We both have an upbeat and spirited personality, and so do our families and friends, so it is definitely what we pictured and what we wanted to have on our wedding day — full of fun and surrounded by love.

The Moments:

It’s too hard to pick one, we just loved every moment of our wedding day! But, I would say that the most memorable part was the ceremony. Fred and I are from two different cultures, and being surrounded by all our loved ones altogether, at the same time having my brother as the celebrant, simply put an intense emotion on both of us. It still lingers on me every time I remember this moment. :)

The Couple Recommends:

Lmvisual, I’m thankful for Maya. She did an amazing job without being obtrusive. It goes without saying that we are more than happy with our photographs. These are perfect images, they allow us to immerse ourselves over and over again on what is still the best day of our lives. This was definitely a lifetime memory and we are really glad that she was part of creating it. Also, Atelier Traiteur Marseille was really great! Their food was really good, and the service was amazingly efficient.

Vintage Irish Wedding at The Europe Hotel

June 6, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Vintage-Irish-Wedding-at-The-Europe-Hotel (17 of 26)

Beautiful mountains, lush green fields, and crisp, calm water surrounded Ben and Dee on their big day. The grounds of The Europe Hotel in Ireland created the perfect, romantic ambiance for the couple to exchange vows. The bride wore a laced gown, and the groom dressed in a royal blue tuxedo. Their breathtaking surroundings and elegant attire allowed for truly astonishing photos by Katie Farrell Photography. Though their day was full of serious beauty, the couple added light-hearted jokes to their vows and offered guests a day filled with ice cream and other fun sweet treats. We absolutely love this gorgeous wedding!

The Couple:

Ben and Dee

The Wedding:

The Europe Hotel, Killarney, Ireland

The Inspiration:

We wanted the day to feel relaxed and to be full of colour, yet remain simple and non-fussy throughout. We wanted to bring a modern feel to the traditional wedding by adding colour to as much as we could without going overboard, therefore keeping an easy sense of style to the occasion. This theme carried over into the wedding dress, which was beautifully elegant, and the bridesmaids dresses, which were completely unique, mixing a strong sense of style and colour, offering a look that was also very non-traditional. The Groomsmen all wore different shades of blue to complement the bridesmaids dresses, but also to work well with the Groom’s royal blue tuxedo, that took a modern twist on a classic look. Our favourite flower is the Gerbera, which exemplified everything about our vision for the day – vibrantly colourful, simple yet elegant at the same time. The most important thing was that we wanted the day to reflect us and our personalities, not traditions or conformities.

The Moments:

The ceremony itself, as it was the first time we got to share the room with each other alongside all of our favourite people. There was so much happiness in the room, you could literally feel it, it was a wonderful moment. On top of that we said our own vows adding a little humour into the moment, which our friends seemed to enjoy as much as we did!

The Couple Recommends:

David Cronin and his team at The Europe Hotel were absolutely incredible, with no detail missed and no request being too much trouble. They were extremely accommodating and so easy to deal with that we we felt that they wanted us to be there a much as we did.
