A tiny DIY teepee in the woods, a soft crown of flowers and foliage, and a stunning tattooed couple are the perfect ingredients for an alternative boho wedding. A team of Kansas City wedding professionals including Indium Photo, Kansas City Blooms, Shelby Herrick Salon, and Something White Bridal Boutique created a scene so free-spirited, romantic, and unique that we know we’ll be seeing these details popping up in upcoming weddings. As if all the natural and edgy details weren’t enough, the world’s sweetest pup makes an appearance in this shoot, and it’s safe to say we’ve never been more inspired to invite our dog to our wedding!

Sweet and Timeless Kiawah Island Wedding

Every inch of Bryson and Brad’s Kiawah Island wedding was decorated to the nines in fresh blooms and botanical designs by A Charleston Bride, making for a positively sweet and timeless affair. Vue Photography brilliantly captured the impeccable decor, as well as the irresistible moments shared between the newlyweds and the absolutely dreamy sunset over the island.

We wanted something timeless and elegant but fun and playful at the same time. I think our wedding planners executed exactly what we wanted in the most perfect way.

The Moments:

During the very last song the band played Brad and I were at the front of the crowd and we took a second to look around and realized how many fun, loving, and supportive friends we have. Celebrating with our closest friends and family made the day absolutely perfect.

Lindsey and the entire A Charleston Bride team were the absolute best. I didn’t have to lift a finger or stress about a single detail the whole week of the wedding- they took care of everything and it was absolutely perfect. Genya at Vue Photography is THE BEST and the whole crew from Remedy Wedding Films were also great to work with. The band played from 8:00-11:00 without a break and the crowd had an amazing time dancing. We had nothing but amazing vendors.

Rustic Lake Wedding in Poland

Sweet couple Ewa and Marcin tied the knot in an intimate ceremony overlooking the peaceful lake at Ostrzyce Wodny Świat. The bride wore an impeccably-designed long-sleeve gown and fresh flowers in her hair, both of which visually stole the show during the rustic Polish lake wedding. SRT-Studio beautifully captured the botanical details and natural landscape, as well as positively endearing moments shared between the newlyweds after they said “I do!”

The Inspiration:

As both of us love nature we decided to organize our wedding somewhere by the lake. We found a beautiful place and when I saw the wedding hall I knew I had to go for rustic style decoration as only this would suite it. I wanted the decoration to be natural and colourful but also very simple. Intense flower colours and some warm fairy lights was enough to decorate the wooden wedding hall.

The Moments:

Really difficult to say as the whole wedding was fantastic and exactly how I dreamed it to be. But maybe funny wedding games for guests just after midnight? That was fun!
