Creative couple Dani and Maverick opted for casual California engagement photos with an epic backdrop. The pair explored Point Reyes at sunset as Annamae Photo snapped gorgeous photo after photo of the laughter, curiosity, and love. Windswept hair and laid-back style never looked so good!
With guests joining them from all over the world, Lauren and Matteo wanted to throw a classically Italian wedding to highlight their favorite parts of the romantic country. Their traditional church ceremony in the exquisite Chiesa di San Gaetano was followed by an intimate garden portrait session with Barbara Zanon Photography and an elegant reception at Ca’ Marcello. If you were looking for an excuse to say ‘”I do” in Italy, Lauren and Matteo’s wedding makes a beautiful argument to do so!
Since we had friends and family coming from all over the world, we wanted the wedding to be classically Italian. I wanted to make sure that we had art-filled, historical locations that would be hard to find in my home state of Michigan.
We chose the Church of San Gaetano in the historic center of Padova. In my first year in Padova, I walked by that church what felt like 1000 times and never went inside. Once we finally went in, we knew it was perfect – big enough to hold everyone, but still feel intimate and just covered in art! The vaulted, affresco-covered ceiling was the icing on the cake. I think the best part of this church was hearing all of our Italian friends comment on how beautiful it was and that they too, had never been inside before!
My advice is to get married in Italy!! You cannot beat the elegance of the food and venues! It’s a dream come true!
When Alaskans Andie and Adam were planning their wedding, they knew they wanted a more tropical climate than their home state offered. Their destination wedding at Sunset Ranch was a sweet rustic take on the typical Hawaiian wedding, complete with leather suspenders and wild horses. Andie wore a classically beautiful Monique Lhuillier gown that complemented the pastel pink, mint, and cream affair designed by Aloha Bridal Connections. Christie Pham Photography and Seeking Films captured every irresistible detail and adorable moment that made Andie and Adam’s wedding a day to remember.
It’s really hard to pick out just one favorite moment from your wedding day.. but if we have to choose it would be our first look. Seeing each other for the first time that day melted away any stress or worries we had. I also really loved our first dance, it started pouring down rain and we did not care one little bit.
We had a long engagement, and I would highly recommend it to other couples. It’s such a wonderful time to share with each other, no need to rush such a special time in your lives.
Our photographer was absolutely amazing. Christie and her husband Matt are professionals. They know exactly what to do, and are able to tell you exactly what to do in order to produce the most amazing wedding photographs you can imagine. She doesn’t just take pictures, she creates art and shows your wedding through a story of photographs. If you want to feel like a star on your wedding day, I recommend Christie Pham.
Being surrounded by beautiful, lush greenery in the hills of the North Shore provided plenty of inspiration for our wedding. We kept the decor minimal, using the natural elements all around us on the ranch, adding bouquets of peonies and garden roses, stringing cafe lights above us and hanging candle lit mason jars from the giant trees. It turned out to be a romantic, intimate and fun evening with all the people we love. Our colors were blush, mint, cream, and peach. We had a soft, airy and natural simplicity to our wedding, with a bit of twine, burlap and DIY touches throughout.
