We’ve been anxiously waiting to unveil the winners of the 2015 Choice Awards, and we’re so happy the day is finally here! Our second annual Choice Awards collection highlights 17 wedding categories including Best Wedding, Best Bridal Style, Best Table Décor, and more. The nominations we received this year were amazing, and we know our winning selections are going to inspire you to go forth and create even more beautiful things in 2016! We would like to thank all who nominated. Your support means so much to us! After a heartfelt proposal in which Robert wrote an original song and performed it for Rebecca, musicians Rebecca and Robert designed their wedding to include countless personal touches as well — truly making it one of a kind. The bride has a special love for romantic architecture like enchanting castles and cobblestone streets, and the Comune di Petritoli in Italy perfectly met her expectations. Shortly after the ceremony, the couple and guests headed to Palazzo Mannocchi for a pool party reception. Talented photographer Paolo Ceritano documented the beautiful moments as the sun set at this Italian wedding in the countryside.
From the bride: I love the idea of “Old World” romance. Castles, sunsets over the rolling hills, handpicked flowers, trailing vines, tall grass, cobblestone pathways and warm colours. Rob is classic with an appreciation for simplicity. His style is earthy, and timeless. We both gravitate toward surroundings that feel like they’ve got a story to tell. “Old and weathered” will always rival “chic and shiny” for us. We made mostly everything by hand, including my dress, and the flower girl’s dress. Our table dressings were hand-sewn out of vintage curtains that I bought from the second-hand store. We made an olive branch garland to lay down the centre of the tables. We fashioned all of our own bouquets from fresh flowers purchased at the local farmer’s market on the day before the wedding. With a love for all things “old fashioned” & “timeless”, the historical setting of Petritoli created the perfect mood.
From the couple: Our advice to newly engaged couples is to evaluate what is important to you. It’s very easy to fall into the trap of investing in popular/traditional ideas that aren’t necessarily that meaningful to you. You do not NEED to have a wedding cake, or an after-dinner dance party for that matter. Your wedding should include all the things that are important to you, the couple. We had a late night pool party instead of dancing until sunrise. We dressed our ring bearers up as secret agents, instead of giving them ring pillows. Make sure your personality shines through the wedding day choices you make.

Keegan and Tania’s easy-going personalities reflected in their wedding design. From light-pink and white floral arrangements to special moments spent in the surrounding grassland, their big day at Orchards Wedding Venue in South Africa was an effortless flow of beauty. Zavion Kotze Events Company envisioned a timeless creation, incorporating light shades of pink, muted lavender, and white. Knot Just Pics beautifully captured the couple as they said “I do.”
From the bride: Zavion (our wedding planner) was incredible. He took a picture I had seen on Pinterest and made it 100 times better! It was like he read our minds!! I am a firm believer in trusting people and that’s what I did! Zavion is brilliant at what he does and we trusted him to do what he is good at. We had a very classic theme, light shades of pink, grey and white. We wanted something we could look back on in 50 years time and it wouldn’t be out dated.
From the bride: My favorite moment was our first dance. Keegan and I had never danced together and we thought we would save it for our wedding day! I didn’t even know the song until it played. It was just the most perfect moment.
