Mckenzie and Ben love Arizona’s Horseshoe Bend so much, they decided to fly all the way from Atlanta, Georgia to have their engagement session there! The lovely Vic Bonvicini Photography captured the couple’s destination engagement beautifully, including some stunning shots over Horseshoe Bend’s canyon. We can’t get enough of Mckenzie and Ben’s trendy outfits that feature a neutral palette, modern silhouettes, and adventure-ready felt hats!
Phuong Anh and Linh are anything but conventional, so they embraced their roots and had a remote and aesthetically gorgeous elopement in their favorite Vietnam park, Núi Hàm Lợn. The couple enlisted the planning expertise of Hatmem as well as the photography skills of Tu Nguyen Wedding to organize and capture their dream wedding weekend. The celebration involved a motorcycle ride, a romantic boat session, a picture-perfect campsite, and, of course, an emotional ceremony. We think Phuong Anh and Linh’s elopement perfectly captures their love for each other and ability to improvise — especially when their first look was thwarted by a rainstorm!
The first look was the most memorable part. Shortly before we saw each other the first time, it was raining so heavily so we had to change our plan and such other things. We were a bit anxious.. But the photos turned out so worth it.
Our wedding vibes were rustic, free spirited, and romantic. We broke free from the traditional expectations of Vietnamese weddings!
Our venue was it’s in a region that’s remote enough, not so touristic, and not too far away from our hometown.
Our advice is to take your time, plan for the worst and leave enough room for spontaneity. Enjoy every second of it.
A draped macrame ceremony arch, vintage-inspired Anna Campbell gown, and mind-blowing private waterfront venue make Parisa and Tyler’s Virginia Beach wedding quintessentially boho chic from beginning to end. Kate Fiore Floral Design created some seriously earthy vibes with the bouquets, flower crowns, and accents spread throughout the space. We’re totally obsessed with the couple’s personal touches, especially their wicker, lace, and leather sweetheart nook. We also love how they chose mainly summer colors of white, green, and blush but added accents of deep red and purple to signify the transition into fall. Chelsea Diane Photography perfectly captured this couple’s free-spirited and stylish flare!

I LOVED MY DRESS! I found it on Pinterest and basically it wasn’t going to be over until it was mine. It’s the Coco dress by Anna Campbell. She’s an Australian designer, so I was going to get it shipped from there. Turns out, she was having a trunk show at Lovely Bride, in DC. Long story short, I went to the trunk show and got it! I love it because it is so me: boho with bling. My braided hair and smokey eye went so well with it, too.
Neither of us are religious. So, we wrote our own vows with our awesome wedding planner directing the ceremony. It was very special, and reading/hearing our own words is something I will never forget.
We had a intimate ceremony. We originally planned (and even put a deposit down) for an extravagant wedding at a venue in Northern VA. We sooner realized that it both was not us, so we decided to go with a small ceremony and 70 person reception at my dad’s new home. It was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t imagine it going any other way!
It’s so hard to pick just one memorable moment. I would probably say getting ready and spending the day with our 16-month-old daughter. It was so special to have her there and a part of everything. Plus, not many men can say they shared their special day with his TWO girls!
We didn’t want anything extravagant, because that just isn’t us at this stage in our life. We love everything about boho decor!
The ceremony and reception were at my dad’s newly built house. It sits on the water and literally looks like it was made for a wedding. It made it that much more special!
We gave mini air plants as wedding favors! They were in little ceramic pots with a “thank you” sticker. We chose air plants mainly because they are super cute, and they are so easy to take care of.
We got to exit on the back of my dad’s Aston Martin. That was pretty cool!
