Chic and Creative Garden Wedding at The Grounds of Alexandria

From the hot pink neon sign to the bridesmaids’ all-white structural outfits, Christie and Brayden’s wedding is a sweet treat for your eyes! From the very beginning of wedding planning, Christie and Brayden knew that The Grounds of Alexandria was the perfect venue for them – after all, where else can you find a petting zoo, gorgeous eclectic and vintage details, and thousands of magical twinkling lights all in the same place? We can’t get enough of Christie’s voluminous Maticevski gown that blended modern form with a delicate texture, and her bridesmaids’ on-trend looks are the perfect inspiration for a summer wedding. Olguin Photography brilliantly captured every moment of this couple’s wedding, including their stunning portraits!

I wanted to look like myself so I decided to wear my hair down, which I do everyday. I felt effortlessly cool in my dress by Maticevski, and most importantly, I felt like myself which is hard in a giant white gown. That was important to me.

We wanted a party atmosphere so we served an antipasto grazing table to start and canapés throughout the night. Dessert was Nutella and jam donut balls.

We personalized our vows but we also added the story of how we got together, which guests said they really enjoyed. We also wanted to mention of the legalization of same sex marriage.

Playfully Vintage French Wedding in the Countryside

Eugenie and Axel’s French wedding was full of personal details and so many charming moments! The couple chose to have their wedding at Eugenie’s family’s equestrian center, which happens to be in the middle of the gorgeous French countryside. Yellow and blue are the bride and groom’s favorite colors respectively, so they made sure to incorporate those hues in every vintage-inspired DIY detail possible, including the invitation suite, florals, and the groom’s bowtie! We are so in love with the romantic images that David Latour Photographe captured of Eugenie and Axel’s vintage French wedding.

The most important thing to us was to have a wedding matching with our way of life. We wanted that everybody have a lot of fun during the day.

We choose to have food trucks and not a seated dinner. There were burgers, Japanese food (takoyaki, okonomiyaki), ice creams, salads & salmon bar, and regional specialties stand. We had a vegetarian option for each stand.
