Kendelle and Ben have loved Lamont’s Bishops House for years, so when the moment to choose a wedding venue finally came, their decision was unanimous. The couple favored neutral decor decisions like white roses and minimalist decor so the vibrant venue could shine! We are totally in love with Kendelle’s Pallas Couture gown – its classic floral applique details and peek-a-boo midsection are the perfect balance of sweet and sexy. One of the most memorable moment was watching our son walk down the aisle before me and seeing Ben’s face light up.
I wanted the makeup, dress and hairstyle for myself and bridesmaids to be romantic, simple and natural. The boys all looked handsome in their suits and ties. We chose grey suits to match the summer garden wedding feel.
I work next door to our wedding venue and have loved it ever since I saw it a few years ago. It is beautiful and green and the outdoor courtyard is exactly what we wanted for our relaxed wedding.
Without meaning to, the wedding turned out to be quite neutral with black, white and grey. The venue is so vibrant we wanted to keep the styling to a minimum and just had white roses.
The best thing about Lamont’s is the beautiful green gardens and rose bushes in the courtyard. I didn’t want to take away from what was already there so I just added a few pieces to show our personality. The festoon lights and the arbour with the pendants made the outdoor reception more romantic and special.
